If you know that people make too many lag whine threads already, why did you decide to make a new one?

Well, it has been regularly demonstrated that CCP only reacts to massive amounts of whining, so if players actually want the lag fixed, guess what they are going to have to do?
Get used to the lag comrades, it's one of the things that makes EVE such a "premium" product.
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the ho's and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!' and I'll look down, and whisper 'no.' |

Lag in a mission hub? WTF man. You would think CCP would seed some slightly less quality agents all around the constellation to let people mission lag free if they simply moved.

Right. Here's your problem. They have these nodes, yeah? They're like a server dedicated to many different systems. Surprisingly, CCP doesn't run a seperate box per system. 5000 or so servers would be... well, you could probably heat a portion of downtown London with it.
So, given that there are more than one system per node, the amount of people in a single system doesn't correlate to the amount of lag you experience.
I'm not implying that this is good or bad. Just how it's currently working.

The is a mythical creature in the wire called the Bandersnatch. He eats bandwidth in unpredictable and mysterious ways. He was first sited at Xerox Parc not long after the Ethernet was invented. When Parc was connected to the Internet, he escaped, and has been pillaging and plundering people's bandwidth ever since.
This thread is proof positive that he has made his way into Eve.
