[empty high slot] [empty high slot] [empty high slot] [empty high slot] [empty high slot]
Core Defence Field Extender I Core Defence Field Extender I
You can also remove the cap recharger and place another LSE II and fill some nos in highs to deal with cap

Thanks!
With the power relay removing cap recharge, are autocanons the only gun suggested ? Can t2 heavy drone kill high end spawn alone ? P.S. Sry for typo, aint english Funny |

ive never bothered with medium guns on an ishtar as i didnt have the grid nor cpu to fit them.
5 ogre ii's can take out 1.8 spawns, it will just take a while but its manageable.
If you really want to put guns on, id go with 3 light neutrons. It adds noticeable dps for not much fitting cost or cap use (if you have nos that is)

SPR and CR are kinda counterproductive. And the DCU? You could switch an SPR or two for PDS, loose the CR and fit another Extender instead, if you really want such a huge tank? It looks pretty oversize for belt Serps to me.

lol, thats my bad. I dont know why, but when you said pve vs serpentis, in 0.0 i immediately thought of exploration combat sites :p. If you're just ratting you dont need such a large tank. Plus i would think recharge rate > hp buffer, so maybe switch out the extender rigs with purgers. |

Some people rat pretty well in nano ishtars. You probably wouldn't need polycarbs for npcs, just a plain speed fit with a modest shield buffer might do it.
That's sordof a shield tank anyway... and much less vulnerable than anything with a shield power relay. :)

There is a guy out there who solos Level 5s (yes, solo Level 5s, not 4s) in a passively tanked shield ishtar fitted with autocannons and deadspace/officer passive tanking kit. It's a monster.
If you want to do serpentis high-end complexes solo, look at your set-up so absolutely nothing you need uses cap.
If you want to just shoot belt rats, then why the hell do you need a passive shield Ish? Ram it full of rat specific hardeners, salvagers/tractors, cap rechargers, a CCC and a aux nano rig, and two MAR IIs. Can handle any spawn no bother. Job done. ----------------------
