I like the stealth bomber redesigns, the Manticore and Nemesis in particular. I hope the Manticore design is for the Kestrel too, the Kestrel could do with losing those weird pontoon things in the middle.

i am all for new graphics i just hope CCP keeps in mind computer hardware gets better pretty fast so re-doing something you made 1 year ago isn't economically efficient it just eats resources from creating new stuff.
there should be long term plan for keeping graphics at certain level instead of going into it case-by-case basis.
i am currently still working with Pentium II hardware based UI (msdos, win311, xgem lol) at work since it has not been efficient to replace it yet. Now that hardware isn't manufactured anymore and even old spare parts are out of stock it seems practical to start thinking about new.
Just saying.

Some new aspects just make redoing some ships necessary. The old frig models would likely look horrible with tacked on shrunk torp and bomb launchers. Some work needs to be done case-by-case. If they happened to wait tell everything was done at once, it would take so long to release that is would be far and away outdated or new tech was already in the pipeline. For games, you have to keep pretty current. You cant play decent current games on a late 90s Pentium II. EVE is spreadsheets joke aside, Its economically efficient for them to look attractive every day for new players. |

Please ditch the Imicus design! It's better than the current one but it's still hideous. Start it from scratch, imo.

Nice, quick update from the Art guys. Personal takeaway:
- Do not want Tristan redesign. GTFO my game.
- Imicus: so, so improved. I feel like I can breathe again.
- Crucifier: looking like a spaceship now!
- Atron: minor tweaks make for a stronger-looking hull.
- Navitas: ...but... does anyone use this after the first day or two of the trial?
- New hulls for SBs are welcome, as far as I'm concerned. Although, like the Punisher, the Purifier looks almost unchanged.
For the most part, this is welcome news. Just...

the nemesis and the manticore are freaking awesome, the hound is copied from one of the project presented on the contest design from where we got the tornado as well, the nemesis is kind of lame |
