2. a "build" is a personal thing how would ccp know what you want? and there is a mechanic to sort thing on the market in that way .. use the market quick tab and set up a folder with your "build" in it.
I took his number 2 idea and went through it here, explain to me how it doesn't work?
...yeah, on hindsight it would've been probably better if I just posted that in this thread instead of making another one but I've already done it.

Actually, some of what you're asking for was given to you when ccp allowed the creation of folders in the market quick bar. Create a folder named Raven Setup 1 then add to it all the modules you need to buy for that fitout. Also you could create a note in the notebook with the same name and layout how many you need of each module.
I don't think this would work for faction fitouts, but its likely by then you'll just have those items memorized.
So to better implement your idea, ccp just needs to take the quick bar one step farther. The ability to export these folders and load them into another client. Even if it was as simplistic as finding a txt file in a settings directory and copying it over -although a merge/import function would be better.

Edited by: Phoebus Athenian on 06/09/2008 20:45:30 Nice to see some positive feedback along the clueless and caustic usual. I'm still turned off from eve. So I'll wait it out for now. But it would be nice to see those things implemented anyway.
And someone should take that UI bug report seriously and start working on it as well.
Lets get more hype on the templates idea, and then maybe I'll LOG IN again! haha >.<
Backdaft, sorry for the short response but just think about it. Why should a game make you do more work than some people's actual work?
From the 1 hour I invest, I want 1 hour of entertainment. Rather than 3 hours of preparation for 5 minutes of entertainment (between waiting times). ---

for me its the huge favortism given to the PVP players that hurts many of the non PVPers I know people that wont join player corperations specificly because of the WARDEC there has been little or no improvements or additions to the game that make the game more enjoyable or fun for the HISEC non-pvper they try to place additions out in unaccessable lowsec space trying to get highsec players to go out there, like we just havent noticed that these systems exist or something, without having any clue of the real reason the RISK IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR NON-PVPers non-pvpers arnt leaving high sec space under the current PVP environment PERIOD! things like moon mining or gas cloud mining effectivly only exist for low sec corps. EVE PVP is out of control and is hurting EVE and CCP |

What is actually needed is a way to do batch buy and sells, so as to avoid endless pop-up windows. This table should of course contain the market average, warnings, etc for each item being sold/bought.
That would of course easily integrate with the suggested 'buy the whole fitting' idea.

Originally by: CCP Dionysus 3) suggestions for improvement???
#3...you've got multiple large threads (and a PDF presented by the russian community) on UI fixes. Honestly there are many very well thought out UI improvement threads with more intelligent people than I. Post in there and ask for suggestions on that particular issue and you will get some good ones.

It's just fracking annoying that players have been putting up good suggestions and posts about UI improvements for years and still only minor improvements were implemented so far. And will not use strong words here but instead I would suggest CCP to communicate more and better with their player base about UI improvements since it's not only putting off any potential new players but also wears down the avg player. If you can hire architects and tailors for ambulation it probably would be smart to hire some UI gurus for remodeling the EVE UI. And let them consult the prominent people who are posting decent suggestions for ages.
