I am not asking what item is best, but has anyone else noticed that its getting harder to get 2000 isk per lp than it used to?
A few months ago I was able to consistently get 2k isk/lp but now all my old items are going for 1000 isk/lp at best.
Is it just cause I suck or is it because of the lvl 4 mission buff they did for Incarna? |

What on earth are you running that consistently offers 2k isk per LP?
I'm hard-pressed to even hit 1k isk per LP. A Federation Web is around 700 isk/LP. A Navy Raven not even 500. Sisters probes and launchers are pretty good isk/LP, but have low traffic. Concord LP are nice as well, but it takes ages to get the required amounts for the big ticket items.
So either you're sitting on a goldmine or you should adjust your expectations. |

I'm talking about my stuff from before Incarna, 2k isk/lp was pretty easy to find, now days I'm hard pressed to find any thing that goes for that much.
Faction ammo goes for roughly 1k/lp if you use sell orders. |

Faction ammo hasn't been going for 2k/LP for some time. If anything its been going up slightly since the mission nerfs lowered overall volume. I still make 3K/LP but thats a trade secret.  |

From what I've been seeing, LP just isn't as profitable as it once was. Exacty why I can't say (though I'd assume it's either more lvl 4 farmers or the introduction of concord lp via incursions).
In the beginning, the Universe was created. This has angered numerous people for many different reasons and is widely considered as a 'bad move'. |

I find it hard to get 1k lp too, tempest fleet issues are only 700isk/lp :-(. |

I too make around the 2.8k isk per LP from running level 4's aswell.
Since im more than happy for people to come down to where i mission run and kill them im happy to tell you all how. I run level 4's for blood raiders where i can buy a cruor bpc for 20k LP plus 10mill isk. A built Cruor sells for about 70-80mill. Takes very few minerals to make and i get those from random mission salvaging when i can be bothered.
Id advise coming to Delve to run these in something like a CNR or a Paladin or any really expensive battleship. If you would like a cyno lighting in on a station to jump your carrier down, this too can be arranged. |

No it's a actual NPC corp with a actual L4 agents. If I told you it my conversion rates would drop like a rock

I can still reliably get 1k isk/lp, but anything higher than that seem to have escaped my attention. |

As many and myself have already answered, LP just ain't what it used to be. If you want to maximize it again, do research like the others (I don't bother as I get pretty good isk from exploring also, so LP is not my only concern).

Yea the good LP spots are "open secrets" that various groups of mission runners have for their respective turf. We don't like to share for obvious reasons, but its not hard to find with even some basic work (mine should be pretty obvious). Do the research and you'll reap the rewards, simple as that. The rest is just boning up your skills so you don't have to rely on LP dealers who, as previously mentioned, have one hand in your wallet and the other firmly on your balls. |

Pretty much this. I found an item I can sell for over 4k isk/LP in an otherwise crappy LP store. It helps that I also have a trade alt that does a lot of trading so my experience there carries over to being able to find high isk/LP ratio items.

LP values have been dropping for a while across all empire factions. I'm not sure as to the root cause but pretty much everyone has noticed. There are still plenty of ways to get more than 1k isk/LP but it's getting harder and harder as those secrets spread. I'd say it was people farming FW LP but that doesn't seem to be the case. The prices of navy ships (specifically the tier 1 BS's) have completely collapsed suggesting massive FW LP farming. But I'm just not seeing anyone actually farm the missions. The number of people running them has dramatically decreased the past year on the amarr/minmatar front. So I'm at a loss for a cause. |

If I was to hazard a guess, I'd guess that more people had more free time during the summer than during the non-summer time due to the large number of people playing the game who go to school. This is a shot in the dark and I have no data to back this up claim, only intuition.
