I'd like to suggest a very small feature request, possibly for Shiva, that would allow a corporation to restrict someone's ability (or everyone's ability) to view other corp members in space.
The paranoia that you might have a spy in the corp just isn't really good for a game. It makes people distrust each other, even if there is no real reason to. Time is consumed fretting about spies when it should be consumed doing something else.
Finally, it seems bizarre to me that a corporation would allow brand-new recruits to know everything about the whereabouts of the other members. At the very least, we'd like to restrict this for a person's first few weeks with the corp, until we get to know them a little better.

Having trouble with a certain mercenary corporation? 
Its a good idea though, member locations should be restricted to make spying more interesting.

Thats one hell of an idea I like it, and it makes total sense. Earn the right to see where corp mates are to keep "track" of them.

Isn't the corp m8s in space feature still bugged?
Whenever I look at it half the people being shown online have either quit EVE or are logged off!

I think that's a very good idea and i agree that you should have to earn your trust before knowing all these things.
Keep up the good ideas ;)

Heh, not really; at least not that I know of. I think we're suffering from a case of minor paranoia, to be honest, but it would help set people's minds at ease to know for certain that there are no shenanigans being played by our supposedly "honorable" adversaries.

That's a good idea, but the map needs to be completely redone. It takes a while to update on corp members in space, pilots in space, etc.
When our spy finds you using those methods, we can never be sure your corp member will actually be there when we arrive.
*Spurna wonders how paranoid they'll be now.

Naa, I like this feature. I once joined a corp with the sole intention of killing them all. Concord dont hurt you and you can always see where they are.
It's like christmas!!
However, this just goes to prove that your idea might just be a very valid one.

Spies? Please. Even 'Show Pilots in Space' is crap. 
The whole map system needs a serious look.
