Ive been running the same L4 RSS agent for a while and the excitement of a storyline coming along has been keeping me alive for days.
16 done. Nowt 17 done. Nowt 18 ...
Ive always experienced a storyline every 16 missions, or is it 'flexible'? . . 8/ everyone |

it should be on 16 missions... they got bad pay and went on strike? ------- Always a deeply religious people, religion remains of great importance to every Amarrian, a fervour which at various times has been responsible both for great good and great evil. |

At least one faction (Interbus) doesn't have storyline missions... I think. Otherwise 16 mission for same faction and same lvl should get you storyline.
P.S.: Storylines come with a bit of delay, I usually get mines when doing misison #17, sometimes even #18 (if #17 is really really fast one).

try doing one mission with another person in the same npc corp then doing another missoin with your normal agent... ive heard that works if your not getting a story line. |

Ive just gone through the transactions to confirm, and its 19 missions, same L4 agent, in a row .. erk
I will try the one mission with another agent thing, same NPC (one in same station) to see if that works.
Will report back here on progress. . . 8/ everyone |

It is ALWAYS every 16 missions.
However, there is a delay between the completion of the 16th mission and the offering of the storyline mission.
If you complete additional missions during that delay it can make the previous set seem longer or the next set seem shorter.

I've also read that if you decline missions, even without penalty (once every 4 hour rule per agent), that you may have to run 2 missions to make up for the Decline to get the count to 16 for storyline. Or something to that effect...

That is a myth.

It's most definitely every 16 missions.

I've noticed that running missions for Research Agents does count towards storyline missions. Maybe that explains the oddity some here are experiencing? |

That used to be the case years ago but was removed, as far as I know. ---
Thanks for all that supported me. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you.

Well - ran another mission for the agent, and ran one for another agent (same NPC corp in same station). Definitely 20 missions now. Nothing this morning.
Ive petitioned ... not annoyed, just more curious if it'll be a problem with any agent I run now! But it will be annoying if I don't get the storylines ever again :) And will I get a storyline and then another 12 later ...
An oddity last night, I couldn't submit petitions at all, and have had to use web based petitions.
Will report progress as it happens. . . 8/ everyone |

I'm sure I was using the wherefore here as the noun not the adverb! But pedants unite. . . 8/ everyone |

Ok - Im back, and Im admitting being a mug.
Basically - I got a Storyline from another Minmatar corp sometime in the '20 missions' process. I assumed this was from the other L4 agent (Core Comp) I was running in the same system becuase the storyline agent was a Core Comp one. I had forgotten that this happens becuase its the faction not the corp that counts. My missioning for Fed Navy proviously had always had a 'same corp' storyline agent.
The good news is, Im sure to get another storyline rsn.
Love and hugs to all. |
