not sure where to put this, so I'll put it in general. I've been told by a buddy of mine that there are +6 and +7 attribute implants. I'm wondering how much these sell for and also how they are obtained.
Also, besides lp and lvl 5 storyline missions, how are the +5 implants found?

I am a spoilsport. 
+6 and +7 implants are indeed listed in the items database dump, but they are not ingame at all. Noone has them.
Whether they will be released or not, at some point, is speculation.
You'll also find other things in the item database (the actual datadump; not the one on the forums) that aren't yet ingame, too. Like the third type of T2 ammos, etc.

I blew up Vaal's untanked T1 indy at Jita 4-4 and she had an arseload of +10 implants in the hold. ****ing holdout.

I think it was an Intel implant that was given out in a short race across some regions that i participated in.

Sadly, these implants have yet to arrive in-game. I doubt they ever will. But if they do --- my implant clone wants some.

First, I would have put the question into the Skills section, but thats just me 
Second, I am afraid that those implants are not in game really. They exsist in the database, but no items are available ingame.
personally I hope they wont either. People are usually afraid of loosing these expensive implants, so they tend to stay in empire or at other safe spots when equiping them, and usually ends up never leaving "home".

Actually, some of them are ingame, although there's only a couple of rounds out there. One guy has a Blaze M crystal, and used to link it for people that convo'd him.

Like previous posters have said, they are or were out there in EVE. I believe they were given away at an event in 2003 or so, but I'm not sure what the event was because I didn't start the game until 2004.

If there were any in game I am sure Dr Caymus would have gotten a set at the time that they were released, but he has only +5 set.

You used to be able to spot Event Charatcer's 'teal' coloured text in local channels, asking for convoy escorts, drug roundups in a system, or Races across a few regions. These are just the Events i saw run, but there were many more, including low sec and 0.0
Sadley the amount of Ingame events is practicly nil since the STAR event team was disbanded (re:corruption)
Don't worry tho, you get a rehashed version of the Amarr chamionship each year with progressivly less and less interesting prizes
