Why are some against pos warfare? like say you like to mine and you also like pvp. POS warfare is like having two in one, it's like mining a pos to death while sparking great pvp fights. Like isn't that awesome??

Pos warfare is a ends to the means. Pos defense means capitals out in the open to possibly defend them. If the NC gather, i am guessing the gbc will jump into them.

PURE is doubtfull of their allies ability to organize any attack or defense.
RZR has his power weakend and their morale down from the failure in deklein.

If you believe Hydra are so pathetic, then why should they have space?? Isn't this a zero sum game? Yet NC alts rag in Hydra's ineptness more than anyone in Tri.
Just ignore the hundreds of caps and support not to mention several supercaps that the NC has brought to remove Tri...if Tri are such failures, what does that make NC given all the toys they have brought to the party, with well...basically one success being a DD in the POS shields...yes NC taking part in metagaming...wow...who would have thought?!

I am proud of the stamina and excellent form my fellow alliance mates have shown in this conflict. I have no doubt that many other would not last versus the odds we have faced recently. All credit goes to an excellent leadership and FC's.

Trimuvirate are and have always been brilliant politicians, oh sure, they screwed up towards the end of tri mark 2 (I count tri mark 1 as the venal pirate alliance personally), but with tri mark 3 we once again see how brilliant they truly are at empire building.
The real problem with Tri mark 2 was holding the empire they built together, but really, there is no honorable way to gain things in eve, the sign of a truly great commander are easy victories, and that doesn't come from me, that's Sun Tzu, the man said more than you honor humping ignorants find on your fortune cookies.
War isn't about brave fights and numerous friendly casualties, great generals achieve great victories through little work and few casualties.
TRI are arguably one of the greatest alliances in eve for the simple fact that they know warfare.
PS. You're free to call me a TRI fanboi, but fact is I can be in any damn alliance I want so if you have half a sense stick to just disagreeing with my opinions.

Wow. Needless to say thats a pretty ... stretched interpretation of events for sure.
The list of alliances any iteration of Triumvirate destroyed in the past can be summed up as:
- Aftermath
- SPARTA
- Dark Rising mk 3? 4? (1/2 beat perhaps given it feel apart but thats what they all do i guess)
- YouWhat
- And obviously themselves.
And at a further stretch you could say they helped push FATAL/MPIRE/COW over the edge, though looking at your tags im sure you know that is quite a push again.
Of course, its not their fault, they waited in venal. MC + buddies swept by. A wake of weak alliances were left in place. Before they had time to strengthen TRI struck and took Deklein and Fade for the most part.
Of course, war isn't about brave fights or fair fights...but at the same time, history will only judge you by the quality of the opponents you beat , if we run by this definition the past interation of TRI was a good alliance but hardly "one of the greatest alliances in eve".

Well to keep morale high and have fun we need victories  And yes, that was my personal reasoning into the collapse of the first TRI; That we went too long as separate corps without an amalgamating goal such as territorial conquest. In reality from the capitulation of YouWhat till the split-up. After that only roughly a week of fighting in branch and zlz preceded the disbandment. |

Tbh as long as long as its as much fun as its been so far TRI can disband tomorrow and it will still be a good run. Until then, you will have to remove us from TVN the old way I guess

Yehh well when you have been DDed 8 times 0.0 warfare beings to anoy you, you invest all that isk in sumin only for it to be blown up by sum dude in a titan. Sure you can buy more but like I said after the first 5 or so DD's 0.0 warfare begins to anoy you ever so slightly :S

If you get dd'd that much, perhaps you need new FCs...and if thats not the problem, you need to learn how to align. CCP made a fancy button for that recently...

This one time, while flying to a location to kill NC, I flew my Deimos into TVN. Now, I had known before hand that this system was a great place for fish to get shot in a barrel, but it was extremely late for me (something like 5am or something, I can't remember). Anyway, I came into local, saw a horrible gate camp and I was sent back over to my clone station.
I think this was Tuesday actually. I had finished my college work, and after getting frustrated over it, I was in a crap mood and almost emo-raged over losing it, but I walked away.
There was a point I was going to make with this post... totally forgot now.

@ Presidio, welcome back in game mate, i knew you for a short amount of time in Phoenix alliance, but there are many many many other changes in eve that happend. Pa stanted for Phalanx Alliance, a allianced i created to fight off the NC in the north basing out of venal.
