is there any way to suspend my account for a couple fo weeks so that i do not have to pay, if I do not use EVE at all during that time?

Just cancel your subscribtion and you won't get billed. The accounts lasts 6 months before eraseing from the database. Hope this helps.

No, you can simply reactivate your account, and a new billing period will begin.
Another thing worth mentioning is that if you cancel your account, this will not be effective immediately, but your account will stay open until the end of the current billing period.

Where can I get the official information about character deletion after a period of time?
I want to know definately after which time frame, the data will be deleted.
