Damage Inc. Is now in the process of open recruitment. We Are looking for motivated members in all time zones with a heavy emphasis on U.S. or Western players. Veteran or new to the game does not matter, we review all applications. All members of Damage Inc are provided the following: *Skill Books *Ships *Modules and Ammunition *Reimbursement for incurred costs All we ask is that you do your part to help the corp grow and succeed. Damage Inc is a member of the Fountain Alliance, and after a probationary period where you work in Empire Space new members are invited out to fountain to work with the corp. Anyone who is interested in joining can contact me in-game via convo or eve-mail. My typing isn't all that great, so sorry for any errors --------------- |

DMG is a great corp, and Angelhunter, Seraph Demon, and the rest of the directors have done a fantastic job recently.
They are a great group to work with, and BSing on TeamSpeak late into the night with Angelhunter is quite fun. ------------- My salsa makes all the pretty girls want to dance and take off their underpants. I <3 ( . Y . ) |

Please don't take this as trolling:
I was a Damage Inc member for over a month and a half. During that period of time I worked hard to secure assets for the corporation (mostly in the form of ores in Fountain and Empire). I was promised rewards, just like in this recruitment post, yet I never saw so much as small weapon ammunition. I had to rely on my few true friends in the corporation to help me get on my feet financially.
Damage Inc is very structured. I ended up becoming a mining puppet only to see the profit go to management. Our compensation was that DI would build us anything we wanted but this never happened. After some major structural changes my friends in DI quit the corporation. Many of them felt DI was being run unjustly. I ended up doing the same.
My major experiences in Damage Inc included:
* Mining in Fountain/Empire with little to no rewards. * Aquiring assets for the corporation which never made their way back down to the younger members. * Falling victim to the "trickle down effect" where money and materials were given to the heads of the corporation and rarely made its way down to the people that actually needed it.
It is possible that DI has changed. I have been out of the corporation for over one month now. I just warn anyone who is thinking about joining the following: EVE is a game. You're paying CCP to have fun. Don't become a slave to a corporation that doesn't believe in returning the favors.
(Incase this turns into a flamewar: That was not my intention. I posted this with my second character simply to cut back on trolling and verbal cross fire. I am merely expressing my educated opinion on the matter.)

I'll note 2 things:
Core Bash is in SIM, a direct enemy of Damage Inc. and all members of the Fountain Alliance.
Damage Inc. is under totally new management currently. ------------- My salsa makes all the pretty girls want to dance and take off their underpants. I <3 ( . Y . ) |

Yes. I was in Damage Inc on my first character. When I noticed things were turning to hell I started a second character and eventually worked it to what is now my main character. I am now in CA and absolutely LOVE it. Beats FA any day, but this post was about Damage Inc so I will not get started on that.
*edited to remove non-working sig. *edited a second time. apparently you can't remove a sig once it's in á

Core Bash, i am pretty sure i know who you are, and you have no right coming here and flaming my post like that, it is immature and uncalled for. I will be the first to admit we HAD some problems awhile ago, but Seraph and i run things now, and i'll be damned if anyone is left out in this corp. Anyone is free to talk to any members of my Corp and ask them how they feel about where they are. --------------- |

Edited by: Greyson Rogers on 10/06/2004 18:49:46 As one of the originating Directors of Damage that helped to build it to where it is now, I can say you are really full of it Core. I'm not sure who you are but I know for a fact that we helped many people get into the ships they are in now, and for the most part had open pilot hangars. Now if for some reason you didn't get even the tiniest gun...well I can think of a couple of reasons why you didn't. #1 your percieved contribution to the corp was a lot less than you than you thought or #2 you were never on and expected a free ride. Damage has never let anyone get away with a free ride, not now nor when I was a member. Not to mention I never got rich being a director of Damage.
For those of you who are looking for a good corp, Damage inc has some of the finest people around. They expect hard work, but the rewards are great also. I also wholeheartedly endorse the current management. They pay attention to the details and reward accordingly.
Sorry for Hijacking your thread angel but I felt Core needed an answer from one of the old directors.

I was also once a member of Damage Inc and have only good things to say about my experience. The reason I left was to start a corp with some RL friends of mine.
How has the management changed now? Who is running the corp now? Isn't Chirstine not CEO any longer? Are Mord and Sid still affiliated with Damage?
Well anyhow, good luck in your recruitement.

I will just agree with what Greyson said. Damage is a good corp. As far as I know they still are. The style of Damage wasn't for everyone.
As for what I am doing; I am off with Greyson in a different corp from Damage.
Sorry to continue to Hijack the post, but had to put in that I think that Damage is a great corp.
