Once more the Paybycash problem arises. Before it was a problem between Paypal and CCP that prevented Paybycash allowing payments, now it's a different problem.
I tried to update my account on Thursday 29th by selecting Paybycash and then selecting the Paypoint option of payment to allow me to pay at my local store. On Thursday night after work, I paid the 3 month subscription and expected it to be activated that night. Paybycash state that the account will be activated within 2 hours of payments, I got an email from ACTeCASH (the paypoint agents) to say the payment had been made to Paybycash. Friday morning, still no access to my main Eve account. Friday night, I emailed Paybycash asking what the problem was. By saturday night, I was really annoyed that I still have no active account and emailed again. Sunday morning and still no active account but I noticed that the query I sent on saturday night had been marked as 'solved', was it hell! I got an email telling me they are looking into it. Here I am Sunday night still waiting for my account to be activated and for those who say "it's the weekend", they work from 8am to 9pm PST on Saturday and Sunday.
Funny that I have not had a response from either my petition or the email to CCP support either.
My skill runs out on Monday morning which is why I made a point of paying the account on time. Now I am out of pocket to the tune of a 3 month subscription and have nothing to show for it.
It's the last time I use Paybycash for certain.

If you are in the UK, I recommend using UKash as it is very easy to use.
Go to UKash website print UKASH voucher go to a shop with paypoint sign outside, give voucher to spotty teenager and ask for x amount to be credited.

Still uses Paybycash though. I think the problem is that Paybycash isn't the agent used for Paypoint payments. so it has to go from the Paypoint agent to Paybycash and then to CCP. It's having to do it in several steps that causes the problems.
The annoying part is that I have a moneybookers account. That lets me send money to an email address and the recipient doesn't even need to have a moneybookers account to collect the money. If CCP had an email address to use for collections, it would be easy for users to pay by this method. I dropped Paypal after a big fight with them over usenet access. They limit the newsgroups that you can access even from an unmoderated server like Newsdemon. Half those newsgroups were the fan groups for sci-fi writers that I like to keep up with, I wouldn't be so annoyed if it was just the pron binary groups. But they seem to have a wierd filter system that knocks out half the groups that chat about books and such. Kinda similar to the bad word filter on the Eve forums that ko's certain words that contain a filtered sequence of letters ie: ****pit, the****utic and sc****s.
Credit cards are not on my list of useful things, they get you into debt too easily. Debit cards are also in that same list as it is still easy to get into debt using one (strangely enough. I know cos I am still paying one of those debit card debts off, no thanks to my ex-wife).
