How are you, Northern coalition member? It seems to me that most of you are badly informed about the going of the war, to say nothing about a correct explanation of your presence over here. Nothing is more confused than to be ordered into a war to die without the faintest idea of what's going on.
Northern coalition members, don't fight this futile and pointless war for your leaders. Get out of the North now and unharmed.

Now for the war news, you have failed to defend ZLZ, all your player owned stations are in reinforced, they will fall. You are losing members daily, your leaders don't have any plans.

Chillax, NC FCing has been a mess as far as they've existed and they've always managed to pull it thru. It's not their fault that they lack a nolife, competant FC who can run things in his way 23/7.

This thread (original post) is actually one of the more interesting, and raises the issue of propaganda in EVE. If the game emulates the real world on so many levels, why should propaganda not work equally well.
 Delivering a message, even an obvious one, to the rank'n'file of the opposition can really do damage if the troops suffer from morale issues to begin with. Even the seemingly harmless (some argue laughable) antics of Hanoi Hannah was taken very serious by the U.S. Army leadership.
In an EVE context, these messages should be more refined than they are. More people have access to a greater library of cultural references, and readily draw on them when trying to make a point. Larger EVE organisations should have at least a few media professionals to draw uppon.
Which is why it is so sad, that most of what you find on CAOD is rubbish, hardly worthy of transmission in the first place. I liked this one though ('cause I liked BF Vietnam perhaps), and would laugh at more of it.

And thy managed only to get this tiny bit of the map in months of time? As i remember Bob lost several regions i less time than that and regained some of it? Dosnt look like they are Pvpgods . More than their blob isnt big enough to crush us without risk and in result they got some tiny problems with steamrollin the north and us poor little carebears. So lets hope that they not call for reinforcements of Pets or other Alliances wich makes it harder to defend for us. What? They have? OMG leave Shuttles we stay in station we will never be able reach empire.
Some Bob told somewhere they have killed abbout 200 Towers up to now with their 100+ capfleet because, that is what all their fun is abbout, doing damage and shooting pos. So what should we do to defend our home? Bring 150 or 200 caps considering our much lower (i mean much much much lower) skill? Dont know if we are able to do field this much i personaly cant fly a dread and cant effort one but pls dont blame me for that i am trying..
But wait i have a even better Idea.
Lets think abbout this: Some mate told me today that he can mine 190Mil Isk a hour with his 3 accounts. Of course i am not so skilled as him but maybe i can do 100Mil or lets say 30mil with 1 account in an hour. So lets take all those of our defending 150 People of nc and they shall not defend they shall MINE. So on an average evening when the mighty 100+ Bobfleet is destroying lets say 10 Towers in 5 hours my mighty 150 miners mine abbout 25 Billion Isk. How many towers could i buy from that?
1? Maybe 5? Maybe 5 with full set of hardeners? Ok lets just try, people out of the shuttles , we are not loosing anymore, we are gonna build towers, into your Hulks pls.
But wait we lost some big ships as i remember a titan and some Ms, 6 or some? Out of you Hulks, clonejump to Jita at once! But wait.. Its not 2006 anymore. I remember loosing the D2 Titan was a big moral hit for us exspecially because it was killed in such a dirty way. But now is 2008 if i post a Ms kill on Caod i am laugh at. Lets face it supercaps are not that special anymore, single players buy and build their own. So if Nc has lost some of them it is surely not nice and gz to all that killed it, but nowadays no Alliance is disbanding as result of that its just not that important anymore. *Note for myself. Have to find out how we can loose so much supercaps if we are not using them, because we carebears dont come to fight even a tiny fleet of 100 caps and 3-5 Titans.*
So if you win, why so much bad propaganda on Caod now?
If we are so weak, why bring spys? Just kill the next 200 Towers pls.. if you can..
