For those of you who don't know us, (EOH EVE-O Thread, Channel EVE Online Hold'Em) is the oldest and largest of EVE's poker-for-ISK rooms. We use the web server/client Mavens 2.0, and run Texas-Hold'Em games both Tournament-Style and Ring-Style.
We have recently been running games that do not have ISK, but Faction Modules as the prizes. There seems to be some interest here, so we are hoping to both entertain our customers and also help out some of you folks who need to sell some Faction or Officer Modules but are having trouble finding a buyer. Basically, we want to use your hard-to-sell modules as prizes in Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournaments, and help everyone out!
★★★ Faction/Officer Modules for Poker Details ★★★
What We Need From You (Step #1): We are looking for Faction/Officer modules that have sold on these forums within the last 3-6 months, consistently, for anywhere in the range of 200-2000 Million ISK. Links to recent forum sales will help us process your request faster, as it helps us validate the value of the object that much quicker. If you have such a module and are interested, you would leave a post in this thread and/or contact myself (Selene D'Celeste) via evemail or convo in-game. I will then make an offer for the module's value, and if this is acceptable, we move on to step #2.
What We Need From You (Step #2): We're not a module purchasing service; however, EOH is a long-running (almost a year old now) poker service that has a history of reliable ISK transactions. Several Trillion ISK has flowed through our room this year alone, and we usually have over 100 Billion in public ISK in our secure corp from Ring Game deposits.
We're asking for the modules with no ISK up front, and with a time limit within which we have to try to sell the module via a Poker Tournament. All modules must be located in either Amarr, Oursalert, or Jita and will be contracted to myself (Selene D'Celeste).
If we cannot sell the module within the agreed upon time limit, it will be returned without charge. However, if the module does sell via Poker Tournament, we will pay 95% of the agreed upon Module value (from previous forum sales). The other 5% will be kept by EOH as its fee for "selling" the module. All numbers will be agreed upon before the item is in EOH hands, in order to prevent disagreements later on.
Example: Using http://www.eve-search.com/ and looking for "Setele's Modified Large Plasma Smartbomb" we find two successful sales in the past two months, one for 850m and one for 900m. Thus we would be asking for the valuation of this item to be around 800-900 Million ISK, and we would try to sell it via a Poker Tournament for that amount. If successful, we would return 95% of, say, 900 Million ISK --- 855 Million ISK to the person who provided us with the Smartbomb, or if unsuccessful we would return the Smartbomb itself and ask for no ISK in return.
Reputation: I understand that this service isn't going to be for everyone. Not everyone knows EOH or myself very well, and may have their doubts on the trust. This is okay. However, hopefully those that know us or who have heard of us can kick this off, and people will find this a useful service if it takes off.

This is a great idea, for 2 reasons:
1. sell your module
2. give isk to a hot chick like selene, who knows, maybe she'll go on a date with you and maybe you can hit on her and maybe like get lucky and then brag to all your friends later that you're not a dork and got laid by this really hot chick and that makes you awesome and super and not nerdy like everyone else.
(like that will happen)
but a good idea, regardless :)
