How long does something have to be in development before it officially becomes vaporware? Cos I think Infinity must be pushing the cut-off point by now. |

Blah blah blah...
I bet most MMO developers wish they could fail like EVE.

Yes, EVE has been slowly killed by Infinity since 2005! Look how dead it is..... the game looks pretty unfinished for a 4 year old project, really, come on. |

Well you have to admit for Infinity being a independant project they are doing a pretty good job even if they need a lot of time. |

Funny, I stumbled across the old Infinity site a year or so back when I was looking for a new desktop. |

That just makes it more likely it will never come out. |

Well IA stated that i might not stay independant forever. I can imagine that some sponsors would be a good thing. Im pretty impressed by the work that they have done so far. And the fact that untill now all the ships and stations are created by the community makes it even more impressive. |

Eve-search.com is generally the better option, anyway we need to redirect this thread as it's clearly a bit pointless.
Now sigs, and memes. Is it just me or has Crumplecorn managed to single handedly start a sig meme? And why? I mean I like them, but I think they should be restricted to their creator.
Opinions? |

Yeah if Infinity comes into reality its going to twist EVEs nuts several times, anticlockwise.
Saying that, if ambulation ever actually turns out to be real, it'll be close competition.

Thread is now about my sigs, which are far more complete and tangible than Infinity. |

And ironically includes an "Eve is dying, say it often enough and it may become true" sig. |

sionce hes doing this game by himself, expect to see it in another 6 years, if he EVER finishes it, and by the time its released, the graphics will be dated anyway.... so yeah he's wasting all this time developing a game by himself with no help on the programming side, only for it to look good now while its non playable and, less than ordinary if its ready.
he was supposed to be working on gameplay logic in 2007, 2008 almost done, and no gameplay. |
