If i want to sell my character than the only option to pay the transfer fee is by the use of a Creditcard. Due to RL issues im not able to use one. Why isnt it possible to pay the tranfer fee with Paypal or DirectDebet also? Not everybody has a creditcard or is able to get one. Are there any other payment option to pay the transfer cost in case i want to sell one of my characters?

Depends what country and your credit rating :) But pre-pay credit cards are usefull if your unable or maxxed on the ones you have.

It's a credit card where you can only charge the money you put on it. In effect, it's not actually credit, but gives you the option of purchasing online like a normal credit card. It has no effect on your credit rating, poitive or negative. Plus, you if the number is stolen the most you could lose is the balance remaining on the card. In short, it's a very safe way to make online purchases. The downside is the fees are generally outrageous (but never puts your card under a zero balance.) Posted - 2008.09.02 12:53:00 - [11] Pre-paid credit cards are good, but as someone mentioned the fee's can seem a bit pointless, especially as the transfer fee is overpriced anyway. My advice would be to set yourself up a new debit account and request a VISA Electron card for it. I am presuming that you live in the UK here, both Barclays and Lloyds TSB can do this for you. I'ts free, takes about 20 minutes to set up at your local branch and can be closed if you don't need it anymore. This can also all be done on the banks websites, or over the phone. Hope this helps.

Still i dont understand why CCP just handle the same payment methods as the rest. This way im not able to sell my char to other players its a bid odd because DirectDebet and PayPal works perfect an it is save. Its possible to do very easy by just adding the option in the menu that you want to pay the tranfer fee with PayPal or DirectDebet. Can`t be that hard.
project 109	Posted - 2008.09.02 13:45:00 - [13] Your not the only one with RL issues chap, me too, and yes i'd like to see Paypal payment options for ALL Eve payments, whatever it is, monthly subs / shop / char. trans etc. Paypal is as secure as any CC transaction, and would make so much sense. To the posters about "wages" per month, I earn probably 2.5 times more that of most "standard" type jobs in the UK as a Class 1 Truck Driver, and no, I haven't got a CC either, a family member pays my sub and I pay them cash. Whether the poster "gets" what "can't have a CC" means maybe the case here, either way, circumstances and just peoples plain needs leaves them with Debit type cards. The fact remains, its all good money and one way of looking at it is that it is earnt money and that persons money if you get me, and as such Eve should open all doors as far as it can to aid payments, well, wouldn't you ? you want the money right ? And for the peeps who DO get my above statement, there are many factors to the reasons for this, and it should not be raised here, it is not the place, please leave it as "you know why", cheers, lets say sipmly mine was due to injury.

Probably thinking about those prepaid creditcards, and electrons that we're not suppose to have abilities as the creditcard, but due to banking error underage teenagers were able to use them on payment processors directed at creditcards only(You know where they used them). I agree CCP should just allow other forms of payment. However if you want to solve your problem, Postbank gives out mastercards if you have an account there.

It's not just the fact that some people can't get credit cards, but a lot us don't want credit cards. Even with a full-time job I didn't want one (you know it'll end up with a happy-go-lucky spending spree on online stuff like...gardening :P). It's just too easy to get into debt with. The only thing I fear, is running out of beer!
