I was at the PAX gaming conference this weekend and CCP had an Eve Online booth.
As a newb, it was the first time I saw things like Dreadnaughts and other capital ships.
Members of the Dev Team were kind enough to show me Titans and their Doomsday Devices. Here are two videos you might enjoy during patch day.
Doomsday Device 1
In the first clip, the Device kills multiple ship that were shooting the Titan.
Doomsday Device 2
In the second clip, a rat problem is dealt with harshly.
The Eve people were very nice and explained a lot to me. They even gave me a Caldari button!

Sod the monitor (all be it very nice and all) I want the Developer console seen in the 2nd movie (when the dev realised he didnt have any fiel for the DD in his cargo lol), watch carfully and you will see.

Well you will need to work for ccp to get that. And why cheat to get one, more enjoyable to earn one. :)

Isn't there a huge problem with Titan in the game now?
And your telling me this is their Solution to solving the problems with Titan? Instead of coming out with a SUPER WEAPON for the Abbadon to kill these overgrown rat hunting ship!

I talked to one of the CCP guys at GDC in san francisco once, but I was so nervous I talked absolute rubbish and he looked at me funny so I ran away and didnt get any awesome presents :P
I also scared one of their programmer team by staring at him like a total mincer round the seminar area.
nice work dude, il have to try and not be such a 'tard next time and be normal to them, maybe they will give me nice things too :)

Well, I didn't see much new, then again since I've only played about 2 months, I wouldn't know what was new.
There was an area of several computers you could sit at on a test server that allowed you to fly pretty much anything. People were buying and fitting Dreadnaughts and fighting each other. At another computer one Dev Team member was spawning NPCs and generally causing havoc (like shooting off the Doomsday Device).
The Devs had several tools for spawning things and other GM stuff. They can pretty much make anything appear in game if they know the 'code' for it. There was an internal web site that allowed them to look up codes to any item.
I didn't ask about ambulation.
I didn't ask about the [insert your favorite] nerf.
I did have Jump Clones explained to me, which seem very helpful.
