You might need the CCCP Codec pack. Windows Media Player classic plays it well to.

I use Mplayer... small. fast. portable. and pretty damn close to perfect!
You have to get used to some things but other than that it play EVERY video on the damned planet by itself! ->no need for communist codecs.. .:D
(althought I used that once and was very pleased with it... solid build)
edit: Mplayer is faster than VLC ... even though some HD .mov files make him trouble, but thats it!

I went for WMP classic, and works thank you. Nice music, i enjoyed it with my cup of coffee.

Speed up the fotage because the slowlyness makes it a bit boring, double speed would have made the movie half as big, half as long and much more interesting.
As it is now I just didnt get very interested since it was too slow.
