Hi all.
The summer is almost over so I thought I would release a track for the "dark" time to come...
I hope the EVE community will enjoy it. Feel free to comment this little piece.

Very nice. It sounds particularly good on earphones, with the panning. Very evocative of the EVE mood. Thanks for making it available via download! (from someone who still plays ALWAYS with music and sound on).

It has potential, but to be honest it's more like a bunch of sequencer riffs queued up than an actual musical piece. That's not always a bad thing where 'ambient' music is concerned, but the main riff which plays for almost the entire duration of the piece is simply repetitive, and that's not good when the piece is entitled 'Before the Battle'. A tune with a title such as that - if you want the title to have some relevance - ought to build, to convey either a sense of something approaching; foreboding, preparation, dread or whatever - rather than simply repeating a musical motif all the way through. Take the tune somewhere and build on what you have and it could be very good indeed.
You can and may disagree with those comments of course, but I hope you'll take them as an attempt to constructively critisise your work, which as I say, has potential.
