Now I just came back to EVE after some time away and am looking to try a bit more industrialist approach, so I was hoping some experienced people could answer a few questions I have about POSes. I've read as much as I can find about then, but these are the gaps in my thirst for knowledge.
Moon Harvesters always mine 100 amount of moon material per hour, no matter the size of the tower?
Do reactors work instantly or do they take 1 hour? And _if_ instantly, can you change between reactor BPs without offlining the reactor?
It is my understanding you need fx 100 Hydrocarbons/Silicates to make 200 Carbon Polymers and joined with another 200 Crystallite Alloys you would get 20.000 Crystalline Carbonides(assuming you use correct reactors and BPs)?
POS defenses attack on their own(depending on setup), but Starbase Defense Management allows you to focus their fire on targets of your wishing?
Well I guess that's it. Thanks for reading this and thanks in advance for any information :) |

tower size dosent matter its always 100 hour,
reactors take 1 hour to work.
iw ould be 100 + the other 100 to make the X adv mat.
Pos will shoot on there own only if your setting are correct in the defence tab. SDM dose allow you to take control over the guns to focus fire. ôHe who defends everything defends nothing.ö

Moon harvesters cycle once per hour on every tower, and produce 100 every time they cycle.
Reactors cycle once per hour on every tower and perform the reaction each time they cycle. The first hour it takes the input, the second hour it produces the output, so when you first turn it on it will take up to three hours before you see the result.
A simple reactor will react 100 of each input and produce 200 of output. Each complex reactor will take 100 of each input to prodcue the reaction, so you need 2 complex reactors to take the full input from a set of simple reactors.
Starbase Defense Management lets you take control of 1 module per level (Gun/Web/Scram/ECM) and focus it on a target of your choosing, otherwise they will randomly cycle between all valid targets.
