I understand that you are trying to make the interface Eve Online more convenient, but by no mercy touch. I spend an hour to properly configure the interface and it enough that I dock and undock for sperm to air the overview, the gang window and the window of drones which it found anywhere without forgetting the station window services for info or I have my ships and items to incorporate.
If I have to spend 20 minutes everything was in place whenever I undock from the station's going to feed me quickly mTchamment serious.

I think he is saying that when he docks or goes out of a station , all the windows move and don't remain where they should be or where he put them.

I can confirm that - sometimes the windows even slip half off the screen and it's impossible to drag them back so you have to reset windows positions...
Can be annoying and in the worst case you lose a ship...

If the windows are moving, please clear your cache and settings folder. If the problem is still there after that, please file a bug report.

Try to pin-unpin them.
I know that if i move one window from stack (alliance/corp/private chat channels) to mid of screen i can notmove it until i click "pin" 2x. After that i can drag it back.

The problem come from the fact that you made the right side of the interface in the station "floating" when I open the hangar corpo everything moves suddenly. I empty the cache and deleted configurations, but the big problem and the fact that windows can not superimpose this.
When I exited the station and I open my wallet or the market turns its overview and moved all any comment. If I'm in the gang gang window remains visible to any station and move the right side of the station "service, item, ship, etc. ..."
It's not a bug, it's just a ploy to remove in programming, believe that Linux modules with the magnetic glue or anything and if we superimposed windows without merging it that moves all alone on any what rate.
I am obliged to do everything Regarding windows gang on the left side of my screen with channs and so forth. So with your last change I have 40% of the rate right of the screen that I can not use, to avoid any chamboulement window when I go to fight "mission or pvp."
Perso with an interface that any moves how I open a window that the madman as one of the places that I open another window while still moving and so forth, makes me mad.
It is unplayable and especially unmanageable. His doing more than two years since I played eve, I like this enormously games as he was there as more than a year, but this last year I think its really becomes anything, you may want to be too to do and you did not know or give the head.

"Erasing cache", heh. Well, did that knowing it would also ERASE all other setting I've spent hours fixing. Overview, folders, BM's, colors, shortcuts.
Still didn't work. Ah well.

I just want to know why the Default tab on my overview disappeared and wont return. It is still there on my other 2 accounts but not on my third.

Seriously, do you people at CCP bother about people's settings?
Going through the forums, every answer to a problem is initially "clear cache and settings". Can't you see a trend here? Can't you admit that the cache and settings mechanics aren't working? A proof for that is the forced reset of all window positions, once again. Now don't start talking about corrupted cache folders. If they are corrupted, it's your own fault, because you gave people reasons to corrupt them (like copy & paste to save from patch). Deleting one's settings should never ever be a solution to so many problems. Oh, and don't forget to convert old settings to new system during patchin when their mechanics are changed.
Is CCP doing anything in the directing of fixing these cache and settings issues?

I somehow have to agree.
Lately I got GuildWars working through WINE and logged back in after about 2,5 years not touching it. The first thing I saw was that my custom-built UI was saved server side and still completely untouched and intact!
Besides that, it supports all sorts of hotkeys and useful default settings. Even when it's not perfect, that's what I call a proper UI.

There's a thread about this somewhere - it's an intended feature. If you have custom tabs set up you no longer get a default tab, however if you have no other tabs, then the default tab will still be present.

It's absolutely unacceptable that this stuff is breaking. I am not your QA team, and deleting all of my settings is not an acceptable solution. Stop losing the positions of windows and stop having pinned windows flying all over the place. Even my schizophrenic Ubuntu installation isn't this bad.
