Oh please, the guy panned Oblivion.
He never says anything good (well, almost never) about any game, the whole point is to see what game he's gonna slam each week.
Of course, what he didn't do was get into any of the real fun stuff...i.e., PvP. Because it takes a bit longer than 14 days to get into it in any real depth.
Of course, CCP is continually nerfing PvP, and has stated that they intend to continue doing so, so maybe he has a point.

I have listened to several of his reviews over the months and they all seem to share two qualities. They are FUNNY as hell and they are all negative.
I listened to him talk about Eve, laughed my head off at his wonderful way with words and how he 'speared' Eve good.
Then I logged on to Eve.

Zero Punctuation is a sattire review. The review, like most of his reviews, grabs hold of the biggest nagging points he can find and absolutely trashes them to pieces.
In this case, they were:
- It really still is an MMORPG
- The game is obnoxiously complex
- The base gameplay is boring as all hell
And really, we can all admit that those things are true. EVE is a very hard, very complicated, extraordinarily slow-paced MMO, and in the end, his review is accurate for the portion of the game which he reviewed.
More importantly than anything else, the review was hilarious, which sort of nullifies any negative feedback he provided on the game, because, at the end of the day, we all know that EVE is a game for elitist hard-nosed *****s that enjoy a game where most of the interest comes from planning and flying around with a solid strategy under your belt.

Sounds like some people need to cash their reality check. Heck I tend to tell my friends that they would probably hate the game. %99.999 of the time i am right and they don't get past day 7 of the trial.
