hey. i am an old eve player which quit for like 2-3 years, and now i am back.
i got a really good pvp/combat trained character - t2 blasters and rails almost maxed out, really good tank skills, drone skills, almost the perfect gallente fighter.
i plan to pvp most of the time, but i will need to earn isk's as well. as rusty as i am, i will deffo die a few times.
my question is the following. can i make decent isk by just missioning or whatever-killing stuff with this char, or do you recommend that i got me a 2nd account to train him to salvage/haul/mine/scan what ever gives money nowadays. any suggestion will be appreciated. thanks a lot.

Battle characters can most definetaly do missiosn, try security, internal security, astrosurveying(has a few haul/mine missions).
Same as pvp really, just that the opponents rarely bring suprise friends and even more rarely scram you while you try to run awaaaaay!

yes but my question mostly is, what should my 2nd character be, if i plan to get a new account, in order to make me earn even more money. a salvager? a miner? a what? :)

IF you get a second account, i guess a miner is as good as any.
Mostly "afk" stuff anyway.

I heard there is a guy in Jita that will give you 10x the money you send him.
Oh you mean seriously? Yes, missions. If you can blitz level 3s that can get you good money. Or you can train up for raven/domi and grind level 4s, but everytime you get a storyline mission, a little bit of your soul vanishes.
*edit* For a second account I would either do DPS/salvaging/looting for faster missions, or try exploration or even industry/production.

I gota mission alt, and just started level 4s, with LP rewards and bounties etc i can make some really nice isk now.
Will be able to afford to buy gtc's soon (got some shinies i wana buy first) which means my second account will pay for itself :P

Join a 0.0 alliance that's not in the drone region and rat/complex. That's the most effective way to gain iskies. With multiple accounts and high starting capital you can make very good money with trading/tech1/2 industry.
