The breakdancing Soundwave video was scary, but Transformers were break dancing way back in the day of Transformers - The Movie

The REAL Ghostbusters (i remember being sorely disappointed with the lame imitator show that came out first, hated that POS)
Bell and Sebastian - another 80's classic from Nickleodeon, was a japanime about a boy and his dog travelling together in the Pierennes (sp?) Mountains between France and Portugal (could have this wrong)

Hmmm, can't believe I left (duh duh duh duh duh!) Inspector Gadget off that list. Thought of some others too, but too late for me to remember

I watched quite a few, one of the alltime favorites though are the french cartoon where you followed some characters through time, from the stone age into space, they had a druidlike character all covered in hair and an arch-nemesis in a little guy with red pointy hair and his muscles, a slightly less charismatic fella... Anyone with a name?
Oh and Doctor Snuggles.

I always questioned the whole Bagpuss thing, mainly because they only ever made 13 Episodes.
Now to me that seems a little lazy, while the stories were good the excitement factor was 0. and so Bagpuss pails into the memory.
I think something else that gets forgotten is the Flumps (you need to be between 25- 27 to remember this)/ that also had the Bagpuss factor as it shall now be known. It was good but not exciting.

I was hooked on warner cartoons mainly. bugs bunny, tom & jerry, etc.
Occasionally watched Reboot, a show WAY ahead of it's time...
Then it was mainly Startrek (TNG / DS9 / Voyager) and other such scifis (first few seasons of Stargate and Farscape in particular) and now I don't watch TV anymore
