thermordynamics is mostly useful in pvp... and mostly useless in mission-running.

Not enough info to answer that question.
If you're a 5m sp pilot then the answer is no
on the other hand if you're a 80m sp pilot having all other skills you want, then sure go ahead. -------- LOL I have no sig! |

I have Thermodynamics up to lvl 4 and use it all the time in pvp. Even at 20+ Million SP, I think there is other stuff worth training to lvl 5 first such as Battleships or Recons.
But if you are fully specced in what you like to fly, I definitely say go for it.

Do you use overheating REGULARLY and FREQUENTLY?
Do you have in excess of 20mil skill points?
If the answer to both questions is yes, then you might want to concider taking the skill to Lv 5.
If the answer to either question is "no", or even "sort of", then you absolutely don't want to waste that many skill points on it.
Play nice while you butcher each other.

While we are on the topic i might ask, in terms of overheating isnt it alot better to fit Best named instead of T2 guns? since T1 stuff seems to be a bit more robust? (cant find the best word uhm.. heat-resistant?)

-The price is too high. -No T2 long range ammo. -Problem with resupply in deep 0.0 (tbh, some of my vessel are only t1/t2 w/o any named because of that).

Once trained to V it's there forever so yeah it's worth it. However you may prefer to get some other skill to V first, you decide.
This has surpassed the Yarrdware specification and has been dubbed Uberware. |

Edited by: Stuckwtf on 10/09/2008 00:58:51 Absolutely worth it once you have no other reasonable skills left to increase your damage output.
