The Dominix Needs some love, seriously. There was a fine artist on here a bit back with redesigns for the Dominix and I'm not sure what came of that (other than perhaps Relic hiring him for homeworld 3 - heh) but I think the Dominix needs a faction issue or a Navy Issue. Drone people play too.

Navy ships don't usually have new bonuses, so what additional slot would you add?
Pirate Faction ships rarely follow the role of the base model, why would they with the domi?

Ya know I skipped Dominix and went straight to Megathron. Dominix I didnt think could of handled lvl III missions as well as Mega...so. Keeping Megathron Navy Issue at that I say, no reason for more adds.

I like the idea a lot.
Could imagine taking a high slot away and giving it a bonus like +20% drone optimal range/falloff/tracking (same like the Omnidirectional Tracking Link does and of course not per skill level) or alternatively giving it a bonus to NOS/Neuts. I would even waive the stupid turret bonus for that...
But as we all know CCP will never do that

Depends if you focused on drones or hybrids. Domis run lvl4 missions pretty well and don't need to chase ships around to get into blaster range...

There is a lack of drone battleships in general. There are two battleships in EVE with enough space for a full load of large drones and a full load of medium drones. The dominix and the phoon.
Course, there are piles of non-drone ships out there without even going to the marauder class(no drones allowed here guys), faction ships, etc.
And the real funny thing is that the two ships that actually have enough drone space to be used properly, their T2 varients are both covert ops and not for combat.
Drone users get shafted bad.

Their isnt a faction issue of any tier 1 bs afaik. it isn't against drones.
I have proposed more drone love on several occasions though.
