Are these worth flying ? New to Minmatar and so far the old threads I have been reading are not helpful. Wolf cant speed tank apparently and Jag can deal damage. Wanted to get into a Wolf. Can anyone give a good PvP (solo or otherwise) fiting for either that'll survive a fwe salvos ?

for the most part AF's arent that good for pvp right now, i wish they were better, but a T1 cruiser will outperform it. get a wolf only if you enjoy flying fancy T2 ships like i do

Fit the Jag like an A/C Rifter with a medium shield extender, MWD, web and scram. I use cheap shield rigs to plug resist holes. Its quite a tough little animal if a bit slow and heavy. Still more fun to fly than a cruiser although more expensive.

wolf like this
150mm x4 offlined heatsink mwd, 20km point 400mm r/t, gyro x2, adaptive nano plating
ambit extensions
200mm x4 offlined heasink Ab, WD 400mm r/t, gyro x2, adaptive nano plating
ambit extensions
with either of those swap a gyro for DC II for tons more ehp
or, my personal favourite, only for gangs with dictors, combat wolf!
200mm x4 offlined heatsink 2,1,2 Cor A type mwd, MSE Odi x2, Gyro x2
Ambit extension x2 or add one aux or poly

I use my wolf for running plexes, but I suppose it could fair in PvP:
Highs: 200mm T2 x4 'Arbalest' ML
Mids: Gisti B-type AB Warp Scrambler (I use a cap recharger)
Lows: 2 Gyros Adaptive Nano Plating Centii C-type repper
Rigged with falloff rigs, but I would fly the Jaguar first, one is the resists are all-around better on Jaguar shields and it has 4 mid slots. It can fit a full rack of weapons in the highs and can have a pretty good shield buffer as well. But seriously, more people should have some type of spacer in their sigs to show it's not part of the post.

I dont know the exact set up, but my buddy flies an arty wolf, and plugs his armor resist holes with exp / kin rigs. Not the most cost effective, but I do know in an all frig wolf pack thats on a BS and trying to avoid webs / nuet death, it does a damn fine job.
