ive been one and off all night getting well ***KED off i can only play eve 2 nights of the week due too work oh well there is one gone lets see what tommorw brings  10mb in leeds yorkshire

Recently upgraded 10mb here in Manchester. the net is fine, just my connection to eve that has been sticky tonight.

browser fine, other internet related applications fine.
Eve online and Eve-o website no connection.
Its back now but it smacks of selective throttling

the eve servers are in london so anyone routed through the affected networks will have issues

Virgin here been having issues too, ran a couple of tracerts and it shows one of there routers are having issues:

Unless I'm being dumb, the first post in this thread was made about 45 minutes before the first post in the thread you linked :P
That doesn't matter though... I've run a few trace routes myself and yup, I'm showing random timeouts on Virgin hops.
Oh well, no more missions for me tonight.

I thought it was my router until I saw this.
Wasn't able to EVE all night - forums down and could not connect. Newcastle here. Will give them a ring tomorrow and give them a blasting. They get one off me every week or so.

Heres a tip.
Dont EVER use an ISP that is advertised on TV.
Im not going to bother explaining why. Also dont sign a contract. A contract is an ISP's way of telling you it has no faith in its product, and needs to stop you escaping once you find out how crap it is. If its product was good, it wouldnt need a contract, since why would you leave if happy?
All obvious really, but its stunning how many people fall for it, and so worthy of mention.
