After the last patch their is a services button on the left hand menu... I click it and nothing happens, anyone got any idea what it does and if its working...

Got the same problem. But its not really a problem I suppose... I just ignore the damned thing.

Right click an empty part of the Bar its in, and under config you can chose what is listed under services.

^^ This. Nothing happens because you haven't assigned what should be sorted under that button.
An associated problem I'm having is that the "small services buttons" checkbox no longer seems to make any difference in stations…

What he said. Assign a service, then un-assign it and the service button will be hidden. It's a defect from not having anything assigned.

LOL, my thought exactly...
They needed to catch up on petitions from last december, so the solution was to kill it...
