if someone sent isk to someone for a sale of a toon who wasnt selling a toon just helping someone sell it trying to find a buyer really... does the person who recived the isk have to give it back or is it the persons fault for not reading for who the isk goes to ?

Depends on if your mail/forum conversations clearly stated who should be the receiver of the isk, and you sent it to the wrong person anyway. If you did that you're screwed.
If he however clearly misled you, petition it, and he will be banned, and you will get your cash back.

So if i sent the isk to someone who wasnt suposed to recive the isk wen it said convo in game for confimation of sale im screwd?

If you send isk to somoene by accident, as in, "not by intent to steal your isk", you're kinda i the hands of the kind soul who got your isk.

It says in the Character sales rules that you have to post in the thread who receives the isk.
There should be no confusion. Link us the thread on the char sales forum? If someone convo'd you out of the blue and scammed you, I think you are out of luck but I am not 100% sure what happened to you without further details

When in doubt, give it the old petition method. To be honest, the character buying process is very strange and is not *supposed* to be a place for sacmmers. I'd say you have a shot at getting your isk back, make sure you state that the seller didn't post his thread correctly and character sales are not meant to be scammed.

The key to this is whether mrs rightnut told the bidder he was selling the character. If he did, it was a scam.
If on the other hand mrs rightnut didnt make any claim, but was sent the isk on accident then master lajoie is out of luck.
But, isnt master lajoie an account reseller? It's one of those names you see posting buyouts on every other auction recently. If that's the case then i'd guess sending the isk without any confirmation is one of the tricks used to commit a seller to a lowball bid, and somewhat ironic if its backfired.

my buddy told me if i helpd sell his toon he would give me how ever many hundred million after the 4bil well i went to master's thread and posted my buddies thread i nvr spoke anything about isk to me or wat not i went through the threads if i was scamming i would of pm'd him or wat not no i told him the price because he said he had a 4bil budget but b/o was 4.4 or 4.5 and thats all i said not a scam

and as i said before i clearly sent him link to my buddies thread and the thread clearly stated " plz Convo Rudomindz or klathoasim before sending isk" instead he sends me isk ? i think ill keep it maybe not the right thing but since he messed up its my choice right ?
