Looks like a innocent mistake to me. Noone lost anything but a little time. Saw that happen a couple of times not everyone is into blueprints and when a agent reward says you're getting a blueprint. Trusth me it happens.

I did have a BPC Trader give me her BPo instead of a 5 run once 
very tempted just to undock and leg it but no i was honest so she gave me the 5 run and my money back. Got a 5 run Moa for free.

I've just started to produce my own BPC's and I wish the icon was a different colour or had copy stamped on it or something. Very nearly escrowed my BPO's instead of my BPC's last night
Mind you I still think what happened here was a scam attempt

i too would like to see a different icon for copies. one really has to look carefully when the bpo has been ejected and mixed with the copies in the hangar. i once put up an armageddon bpo on escrow but realised my mistake when i saw the empty lab slot.  making bpo's look different shouldn't be hard to do.

Yeah it is. I've taken to using cargo containers to make my own 'limited space' hangers to try and sort all the stuff out. Can be a pain if you have to travel to buy them though. Are there no cargo container BP's in the game?

All they would need to do is make BPOs and BPCs different colors. Would take about 1 second in photoshop.
Blueprints blue, and blue print copiessomething totally different like red or yellow or something. That way there is no mistaking them as copies.
The other thing that needs to happen is to list escrows by actual item name.
If they make it impossible for someone to display an item by whatever they choose to name it, then a lot of scamming will be gone.
I know a lot of people think that scamming should be in game and all, I mean people scam people irl right? The difference is, that irl you can go to a police station (Concorde) and say hey, I'm a victim of fraud. They actually try to make things like that harder to do.

it is this simple..show info..attributes..liscenced runs remaining...if it is 0 then its no good so dont travel for someone who wont escrow because escrow is your saviour...you are about to claim NOTHING...or a blueprint copy with no runs remaining i believe it is in RED writing so just dont buy blueprints from someone you dont know there is a world of bpc's out there good ones so either ask someone you know tht is familiar or just use your head your feet are for dancin!! SHOW INFO PPL!!

Sry guys, i wasnt TRYING to scam people, i actually thought it was a BPO but i think the thing that was convincing me was that i was a little drunk , so i dont remember much of that night but i was actually going to see rid**** so it wasnt a scam. |
