My attempts at contacting NAGA reps via eve-mail and via ingame channels has failed so I'll try here.
Can anyone from the NAGA corporation please eve mail me.
Thanks.

NAGA are or at least were operating normally up until a couple of months ago. The last time something like this happened it was due to a downed internet connection, hopefully the same will apply here.
If you are reading this and know a NAGA corp member can you direct them to this thread please.

Same, it's been some time since I've heard from NAGA. It's a bit unusual for an entire corp to go MIA. If anyone happens to come across NAGA or Stepstone, point them this way. I'm sure myself, Squelch and perhaps a few others would like to talk to them. :) |

That's kind of scary, they used to be the final word when it came to T2 sales and just to vanish like that. I'm going to assume they were using your BPOs?
If NAGA ended up pulling out and taking the BPOs they were using with them that would impact quite a few people who loaned them those. I'd be pretty worried about that.
At this point I'd also be questioning the wisdom of letting a 3rd party manage a BPO for you. Someone that is (was?) as trusted of a name as NAGA just vanishing like these reports is a sobering reminder that there is really nothing you can do if someone screws you and vanishes.
Good luck you guys, hope someone from them speaks up soon. |

Wow, that's a leap of logic there. Truly, if NAGA had run off with the bpos they were trustee over... we'd know it. The drama bomb would be seen all the way to Japan.

I'm trying to be conservitive here :)
Noone has yet said they have ran off with anything, I'm just taking a guess it's about BPOs... Two people in this thread, both with past contact history with NAGA, now wanting to get ahold of them and needing to resort to posting on the forums. Sounds like someones starting to worry. Who else would have that type of interest in contact?
I guess we'll just have to wait and find out. Not trying to cause a drama bomb, just point out the obvious. |

I would think conservative would be: "Why do you need to contact them? Perhaps someone else could provide you with similar services?" What you are implying is not conservative. It's tad reckless especially in the face of no information from either side. Just speculation on your part. Not entirely unreasonable speculation mind you but a bit out there given the circumstances.

We could always just ask, "what's the deal?" Who knows, they might tell us.
I'll try it your way though, cause now I'm quite interested...

Actually, I am pretty curious myself as to what has happened to N.A.G.A. They were pretty much the ruler by which many of us measured the T2 Market in the past, and I have no seen Freewheeling or any of the other guys around for quite some time.
I did think, till now, that most of the BPOs under the stewardship of N.A.G.A were returned to their original owners, however please do not quote me on this. I do agree with Shar, that should something "untoward" have transpired we would have heard about it fairly quickly.
Still, a gossipmonger in me does want to know...

Man, I remember buying *everything* from Naga. They used to stock named, T2, anything you wanted really. Perhaps check if their corp still has a hangar in Niyabainen (can't remember which station and there are like 30 in there lol), if they do at least someone is paying the bills.... :)

Nice to know we are so missed. Yes we are still alive, we are just really busy having sooooooo much fun with factional warfare
Squelch: Sorry its been so hard getting in contact with us, we do have a lot of MIA members right now, hit me up in game and hopefully i can help you. And to whoever was saying we had cut'n'run, we value the reputation and respect that NAGA has more then a bunch of T2 BPOs

iirc the Naga shop was closed down when the escrow system (with unlimited escrows basically) got changed to the contract system (with skill dependent and quite limited number of contracts) making the old shop system (which was great btw) impossible to run
I bet they are now producing just for the regular market amirite?

I'm not 100% sure about this, but wouldn't something like the Corporate Contracting skill assist in this aspect of player to player trading?

OFC it does, but in the "old days" of the escrow system there was no limit to how many escrows you could have going at a time.
Although there were many "drawbacks" to the old system. There were a couple of things that were greatly missed, like inter-region ability.

Hello all.
I'm really sorry about the late reply, but to make a long story short, the directorate of N.A.G.A has been hit hard by RealLifeÖ. Namely some of us crawled from under their rock, went straight into the bright light and, apparently blinded, didn't find their way back to the nerd cave.
Without going into the detailed list of such afflictions that have plagued our membership over the past 6 months, it's enough to say our CEO is gone playing golf (the non electronic kind, too), and left me the keys with a very simple mission: Tidy up the house, biotch, we're going on extended vacations.
I'm not one to question the wisdom of our fearless leader (remember, the gods talk to him through smoke signs, and he's packing titanium golf clubs these days), so I'm doing exactly that.
Stepstone is going into hibernation. Well, it sort of is already: for the past 6 months, N.A.G.A prod has been mostly on hold, partly because producing and selling T2 has become impractical under our current circumstances. All Steps payments that took place from March 08 have in fact been made based on Jita going prices, but out of the corp reserves, for we barely placed any new product on the market.
All Stepstone BPO holders will shortly be contacted in-game on their registered Stepstoner characters, and be given the option to recover their BPO, or possibly sell it to N.A.G.A if interested. We're also open to act as brokers for those of the Stepstoners who'd like to put their BPOs for sale on a public auction.
N.A.G.A is going out for a break and a beer on the lake shore. N.A.G.A corp is not closing, but there's no telling yet what we're going to do next. We see relieving ourselves from any ongoing business commitment as a precondition to figure out our next moves with an open mind. Our T2 BPO portfolio is not for sale, although we may be interested in some trades of BPOs, for the sake of increasing the variety of the collection in exchange for prints we have in duplicate.
Stepstoners are welcome to contact me by evemail if they have any questions. Expect a mail from me about your prints within the next 48h.
Again, sorry about the delay on getting in touch with the Stepstone Project community, it was uncertain for a few months whether we'd carry on or not, which explains why there wasn't more of a clear-cut timeline.
