Thanks For The Buzz PVPers !!!
Firstly this is genuine and not a whine.
Secondly I am a long time reader first time poster...
OK, so yesterday I had the best fun ever, I believe I am called a "carebear" and sit in high sec wetting myself at the thought of contact.... However after being in a group a pvp corp asked me to help them move some stuff for them for isky... Hmm this is it I thought I will be dragged out to 0.0 and killed. But the money was good and the thought was fun.
So armed with my Freighter I set off to 0.0 .... .8 .7 .5 .4 .2 dud d d d d d duuuuhhh 0.0 on my way to the destination I had several close calls One of which decided to follow me for a bit lol... I have never had so much fun crapping myself each time a ship warped in or uncloaked... I think they looked at me and laugh and let me go...
I proceeded to drop my goods off got my money and began the return journey. now I think this for me has to be the best bit... I was about to get back into the warm comfort zone of carebaer land where the stations are padded and the stars and rats kill you gently..
A character who will remain nameless for I do not want to let the identity of a kind pirate be know. I had a convo screen come up so I answered I was told to pay 130 Mill Isk or I would be blown up, so I LOLed to myself as I do not have this much isky, and proceed to let him know this fact......
it would appear that they get told this allot and with a flash and a bang I am in my pod laughing out loud like a madman.... 3.2.1. warp to my home, once there I decided I would let the guy know in a nice way that I truly didn't have 130mill and that it was fun being attacked by a pirate for the first time..... after a long conversation to which I did not know wtf he was on about telling me my ECM was lacking with Distant scanners bla bla bla, I nodded and said my goodbyes, the convo screen closed and I grabbed a tea.
On my return I have a flashing wallet and 10mill credit... thank you to the kind pirate and thank you for the pvpers out there who make this game so much fun, oh and if you see me in 0.0 be sure to ask me what I can afford before killing me lol.
Thanks again I will see you soon in a 0.0 sector near you!!

Congrats.
But uhh...I'm pretty sure you mean "industrial ship" rather then "freighter".

That is very good karma. The beauty of this game is it allows this sort of things to be shown.

Its a good news day.
Theres a story somewhere else about the guy who was in a race and got a low sec guy to blow up an unexpected gate rat.
You Eve people, you gotta love 'em !

On ops I have popped players in frigates and starter ships. Security issues, didn't know if they were spies or just lost. I always have thrown them 100k just to make sure that, if they were lost, they can recover when they wake up back in their home station.

On the same positive note. On of my corpies (even noobier than me) autopiloted in lowsec in his brand new cruiser, cargohold filled up with skillbooks, and of course got his ship blown up. With the enthusiasm only a true noob can show he returns to get his cargo back. No podding though
What happens? The pirate is patiently waiting by the wreck, says he didn't realise my corp mate was a noob, so he made sure nobody stole the wreckage and warps off
Thanks mate, you managed to convince our carebear corp that lowsec is fun

Nice story, it is good that you have such a positive attitude, and while you may spend most your time in high sec I would venture to say that you are certainly not a carebear.

TBH you fly a Freighter into 0.0 space and then tell a pirate you dont have 130 mill.......They cost around 900 mill + and i would pod you also. You must be stupid to even fly the Freighter there on your own anyway.

After a while it gets boring...
I seen once a jumpfreighter (a real one, not the op who was in industrial but thought it was freighter) gone through low sec on autopilot. I think it actually survived since that area was controlled by militia and usually they dont fire on neutrals.
