dramiel has 3 missile slots and 2 turret slots.
still all it's bonus is on projectile turrets.
someone tell those 2 factions to stop their cooperation pls.

and it can push out some very good dps with those stats too. it sure as hell looks strange but its also very effective. solo's lvl3 missions but doesnt kill 750K BS's (maybe i should try again with t2 ammo...). fair enough for a frig i guess.

Dramiel is a funny ship simply because it has 3 projectile bonuses but only 2 turrets.
If I had an Alt I would probably post with it... |

Lmao. Yes that's the thing that doesnt make sense. WTF are 3 missile slots doing on a ship that has all those juicy bonuses. FIX THE DRAMIEL!!!!!

but whats wrong with it? it kicks out more dps than the t1 minmatar frigs, and more than the minmatar interceptors, and has a speed between the fastest t1 minmatar frig and the interceptors.
it can do a lvl3 mission solo with a rigged tank that rivals an un-rigged AF's tank.
it just looks strange on paper.
have any of you actually spent some real time behind the controls? or have you done a show info and decided not to buy it?

Still pretty damn useless anyway. Who wants to put out the shit for a faction frigate when there's T2 stuff readily available? Interceptors are practically a dime a dozen compared to the Dramiel.

erm, anyone who fancies flying something a bit special thats not been mass produced?
some people collect classic racing cars, and some of those people take those cars on the track. but not a single one of them expects their classic racing car to compete with a ford for doing the tesco's run, or expects them to compete with a brand new super car for lap times.
so why should a faction frig be good bang for buck, or compete with t2 frigs?

maybe because faction BS's are worth buying, and faction cruisers(pirate one's still need some love) but faction frigs are often not even better than regular t1(well beside the looks) they should at least be in between t1 and t2

well the dram is between t1 and t2, from my personal experience at least.
the faction BS's may change in the future as the cost of the t2 BS's drops. i expect in the long run the only significant difference between faction and t2 BS's will be the training time not the isk, and already the t2 BS's are showing their worth. for a long time the only thing better than a t1 BS was the faction BS's, this has now changed with the t2 BS's.
i've only got the vigilant and the ashimmu/ashimuu/vampirething so i cant comment about the non-pirate faction cruisers, but the pirate cruisers seem to be balanced much like the dram is, in between t1 and t2. in no way can my faction cruisers keep up with a HAC, but the extra mid slot on the vigi does make a nice difference.
so i still cant see a problem with the dram, its not bang for buck but i dont think it should be either (faction BS are an exception and time will alter the prices when compared to t2), its not t2 powered but it is better than t1, its not common as muck but fairly rare, all in all it just feels right.

yeah the strange thing is tho that its a gallente/minmatar ship and both these races have gun ships mainly
