And the winner prize goes to ............m0o It was real fun to see the old-times almighty m0o to run faster than a noob, two days ago, somewhere north, sassinak you know what I am talking about, you were there, with 8-9 other corpmembers of yours. When I saw so many frigates I though we have a noob-attack. In case that someone have forget: Battleships and cruisers nurf will come after the patch not before.

Bravely bold Sir Robin rode forth from Camelot He was not afraid to die, O brave Sir Robin He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin
He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp Or to have his eyes gouged out and his elbows broken To have his kneecaps split and his body burned away And his limbs all hacked and mangled, brave Sir Robin
His head smashed in and his heart cut out And his liver removed and his bowels unplugged And his nostrils raped and his bottom burnt off And his *****... Well that's enough music for now, lads...
Brave Sir Robin ran away - No! Bravely ran away, away - I didn't! When danger reared its ugly head He bravely turned his tail and fled - No! Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about And gallantly he chickened out Bravely taking to his feet He beat a very brave retreat Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin

m0o may not be the most liked corp in Eve, but they are both effective and have stood the test of time.
When I was a nublet I despised pirates, but have come to accept them as part of the game.
About a month into the game I lost a bestower carrying all my valubale assets, I very nearly quit.
Last week I was podded without an up to date clone, I lost a bunch of sp, 5 implants and a fully equipped elite frigate.
This time I was far more understanding of the game mechanics, you collect stuff, you lose stuff, withthout the likes of m0o it would be just the former, and I wouldnt be playing now if it was that easy.
M0o have a lot of expensive stuff, I too would do the best to keep it, not to do so would be dumb
good luck pirates, good luck carebears, were all playing the same game, just in a different way!

1st. I respect m0o, has the biggest pirate history so far, very skilled pilots, gr8 tactics, cool team play. When I saw m0o in the system I was expecting to see a great offensive fleet, not a bunch of frigates. They were talking smack in local ch, but I dont mind couse its part of the game.
2nd. Why posting with an alt? The keyword is north. Why should I afraid to post with my main char? If m0o is in compat range, they will shoot me asap, as I will do the very same thing.
I expect more from sassinak and viceroy, not hanging around in frigs. (to be honest I havent got the chance to scout theirs ships, but almost all of them was in rifters and interceptors but I guess must be part of their plan)
m0o are pirates, but very respected in eve-world, hope to have the chance to engage them (with my main char). |

Ok i'll give ya a semi sensible answer since ya asked nicely..
The reason were in frigs is caus we were headed to Venal(A very long way from our current base with our sec status) so naturally we couldnt be bothered to spend hours going 98jumps in battleships. I personally was in a Thorax to compliment a little more firepower to the fleet, but still remain mobile. If we plan on staying any length of time then we we will surely bring up our battleships. But if you think we were in frigs etc caus we lack the resources, your horribly mistaken... I personally own 6 battleships, and there are others in the corp far richer than I Sass Arcane Technologies |

Everybody runs, I run, Everyone runs, so please stop these ignorant posts. Its not the runnning that matters, its the tactical views and strategy to to kill your opponent and battleship kills that matters. ---

Yep. Funny thing is, the wannabe pirate corporations will complain that they absolutely cannot make ends meet unless they do things like gate camping empire space and ore thievery. Each and every time I have to point to pirate corporations like m0o (others as well, but lets not make them celebrities ) who day in and day out take it upon themselves to troll places where the fish bite back in order to achieve their notoriety.
Do I like em as characters? No, they get in my way FAR too often. Do I respect them as players? Absolutely, they're accomplishing their goals.
Everyone runs... good point. So I guess being the best "runner" is a skill unto itself, probably most often held by those who are the "best" at other things as well. After all, I'd like to see some of the newbie forum threateners try to run from a m0o fleet... not as easy as it sounds (said from experience).
I figured this thread would have been closed by now? ------------------------------------- // The views expressed by this poster are not the views of the poster's corporation, alliance, planet or television network... but they should be. |

Running in its own is not a skill, it is a skill however, to know when you have to run, and when you can fight. You gotta weigh your chances and chose one or the other. Order out of Chaos |
