Yes, FW ranks have disappeared from the Character Sheet since last patch.

ITT CCP confirms the short lived run of their failed brainchild "Factional warfare"...admit it CCP, FW was a flash in the pan, and people are leaving in drove b/c theyre tired fo fighting over meaningless capture bunkers. If they wanted this kind of play, they'd head to 0.0. (OH WAIT, I SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING HERE, MOVING PEOPLE TO 0.0, WELL DONE!)

-4/10, try harder next time kiddo.
FW has a core of people who won't give it up, especially on the caldari/gallente front. It just needs some tweaking to retain people, but the combat itself can be better or equal to anything out in 0.0.

They never meant anything, and they didn't reflect the quality of the player (anyone could grind them eventually), so why even bother with them? They don't really have much RP value if they are inherently meaningless and open to everyone who logs in enough, and IIRC they had no other FW-related bonuses associated with them either.
