that is not actually true. Not only has Jade in the past been very big on ruling space (I.E. previous venal alliances) but their current attempt to displace the long standing Corps based in Venal in an attempt to form their own alliance will give any of you empire builders a chance to flex your mental and manipulative muscles.
Of course they have to win first, and you will have to fight in frigates and cruisers because Jericho doesn't have the industrial capacity to mass produce Battleships. Conveniently how-ever Jade covers this fact up by insulting the tactic of maximum fire power and pointing out it is low grade and foolish. In reality we all know that mixed fleets with a core of battleships are much more effective than light missile flinging frigates and support cruisers alone. Jade knows this as well and so attaches him self to JerichoÆs current allies and their proper fleets.
So if you want to snipe at bigger fish and try to displace the long standing corps who have called Venal their home since before Jade was evicted from Venal space for piracy, then sign up.
also you have to like working with pirates and then either deny it or just pretending like it didn't happen. note the "other independents" Jade mentioned :)
Also you have to be willing to use alt corps to fight, which when wars start costing money I think we will see Jade stopping that tactic...you know because Jericho isn't an industrial machine and admits to not being able to fund their members where it says that you have to pay for your own stuff except some combat gear.
But I will say that they are very entertaining and 90% of people in Jericho are good people. Even some of their directors and former directors are good people, it is just that Jade really wants to control Venal, but then what else is EVE for if not to make vendettas, become fixated and pick fights?

You know just as well as everyone else with a history in the region what it was Jade - and Jericho Fraction - tried to achieve in VA/NVA. PA attempts at revising public record notwithstanding.
(I came into contact with Jade through being curious of the NVA and her attempts at creating freespace, and it's what kept me interested in Jericho Fraction up to the point of eventually applying for a - thankfully successful -recruitment interview.)

The stated war aim is to force the PA to make good on it's pledges and promises - i.e. to boot CDI from the region, as CDI has proven to be a dagger waiting for any and all oppurtunities to stab peaceful traders in the back.
The rest of the PA is involved only because it was apparent that you would be defending your rogue corporation, not even enforcing sanctions you yourselves put on CDIm, and even less make good on promises made in a ceasefire agreement.

Hold on a moment, I thought the official PA line was that we don't fight at all! You guys really have to descide on which angle your propaganda is to adopt, as you can't go with several mutually exclusive ones at the same time. Doesn't work.
And for the record, on the battlefields we follow orders. It's not Jade nor the Phoenix Alliance that descides what we are to fly, it's whomever is in lordship of any particular fleet we get assigned to. Yesterday I could have brought my Raven, the JFS Nobility, but I was requested to bring the Crow instead (for holding, which was successful, BTW, you really need to tell your lone Megathron pilots that a Crow speeding towards them from 400km should be avoided - or drones should be released, like Axel did later that day... Ouch...).
I followed that order, and I won't take smack for following the orders of my military commanders. PA has interceptor pilots too, you know...

First off - There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch. There are freeloaders though. ;)
Jericho is an ideologically and philosophically founded corporation - a movement. We like driven people, people that go at it for the cause. Not people that sign up drooling at the thought of a few "free" battleships...

Indeed Crice, and this muppet has been ducking this one now for 3 days. I do find it insulting that a waste of skin like Mitchello can speak of "fighting" for an alliance while cowering in Empire and refusing to face "his nemesis" in battle when offered the chance on a silver platter.

Get to, not have to. I've got enough problems keeping people interested in frigates, what with Maud and company being all "argh! Battleships are stompy!"...
In any case, you do have a point. We don't mass produce battleships. We do, however, custom build battleships for those members who prefer them.

You know I have been telling my guys to ease off on the forum posting and then I come stumbling along on this giant pile of bovine *****.
1. There is a special place in hell for people who flame recruitment threads. Enjoy your stay.
2. TBH We could afford to put people in Battleships if we wanted to. I even pointed it out in a directors meeting a few days ago. We however decided that the members of JF were smart enough to be able to get them on their own and didn't need to be spoon feed anything.
3. Everybody knows that blob fighting is the most boring thing you can do in EVE. It will normally keep down losses so you can sacrafice fun for safety if you want to.
4. JF will not form a closed space alliance. I don't give a damn if carebears get to go to 0.0 or not but the rest of my corp do.
5. Jade was not evicted for piracy. In fact despite my best efforts Jade won't let us be pirates.
6. If you can show me Jericho members using alt corps to fight I'll either have that member kicked or leave Jericho myself. I believe that you will never do it because I'm pretty damn sure you are talking a ton of crap.
7. Yes JF members join our other allies in fleets just as PA corps join together to fight. Either you have no friends or you know nothing of fighting to think allies fighting together is a bad thing.

On the war front: for clarification.
Jericho Fraction currently has incoming active war decs from:
PA
Occasius Republica
Cyberdyne Industries
Several dubious looking alt corps.
We have current active outgoing war decs vs:
Romanian Renegades
21st Legion Ghsts
DDNN corp
(all 3 targets have suffered losses this week)
Its out intention to keep rotating PA corp war decs to keep our enemies on the their toes.
Caldari Technical Division (Mitchello's corp) is top of list for the next rotation (beginning of next week) and we will be pursuing CTK in empire as punishment for Michello's forum antics.
Obviously PA corps can remove themselves from our war-dec rotation roster by simply surrendering individually and removing themselves from the PA.
Given our fairly honest and direct approach to empire war decs I think we can all agree that Mitchello is talking out of his asshat.

Oberon just got a fresh war dec this week from a one-man corp, the one member/CEO being a JF member before forming that corp. We assumed it was indeed an alt corp of JF/NCA, as we sure don't have any history with this dude, Jeriel Jaramon (spelling as guess).
Can you confirm what you know about "Fountain Conflict Resolution" and this Jeriel, Maud? We'd never heard of them before, but given their make-up and origins they sure do look like an alt corp made for people to jump in and out of while attempting to attack our (almost non-existent) empire operations.

This isn't an alt corp of ours, and Jeriel Jamon is a developed character not an alt (the player left eve a while ago). So if its a one-man corp with a main character its difficult to see how its categorised an "alt corp" by you Bobby.
For the record Jericho Fraction has a war dec ready for Oberon awaiting implementation in the next rotation of empire wars. We do our fighting with our mains. (Something I guess you mr "Stepping Razor" Wilson don't know very much about.
