After spamming Jita local for a couple of minutes with a call out to riot about current events I do believe that I owe it to Mittens and the public to make a sensible post about this whole situation...
First most I want to applaud Mittens for posting what looks like a sincere response to what happened during the alliance panel. For a goon it must take quite some courage to post such a seemingly sincere thing...
Now I'd like to present you to the core of the argument I'm trying to make. Since Mittens scored a clear and conclusive victory in the CSM election I don't believe it to be fair that he has to resign from a seat on the CMS since clearly over 10,000 players want to see him representing them. But what I do believe to be fair is that CCP strip Mittens from his position as chairman and place the person with second most votes in his place to send out a message that this kind of behavior is not tolerated from anyone in the game. Now I do believe there will be lost of hate about this post but most sensible people will have to agree with me that CCP cannot stand for such behavior from anyone, especially not from the chairman of their beloved CSM...
So what I'm basically trying to say is that CCP has to make a symbolic example (of Mittens) what happen when you cross the line as a player in their game...

Mittani has done EVE alot of good.
He exposed the over the top nature of the game. To himself I think as much as us. Alot of the GD crew still haven't really had it sink in what happened to Mittani. He woke up. |

There's been lots of sensible posts, what makes yours so special that you have to start a new thread about it?
Btw it's 10k accounts not people, actual people is likely to be less than 5k.
