This morning I tried to jump into an implant clone at Agil but nothing happened. I stayed in Esa. So I went to try again only to find thet my implant clone with +4s at Agil had disappeared. Needless to say I petitioned.
This afternoon I decided to jump to another clone in mastakomon and i get this message:
Clone jumping will result in the destruction of the existing clone you have installed here given that your current body must replace it before jumping.
You will lose a Jump Clone! Are you absolutely sure you want to do this?
I have never had this problem before. There is only one clone at each of the stations. Has this happened to anyone else?

That's the thing, I've never been to the system that I was jumping from before, never mind having another JC there.
The other thing is that the clone that I wanted to jump to was the one that got destroyed.

This just happened to me a couple days ago. Tried to jump, the clone i was trying to jump to dissapeared with all the implants, and a clone appeared in the station i was trying to jump from, but I didnt actually jump. Ive had this petitioned for *DAYS* now
I havent tried jumping to a diffrent clone, so i dont know if it would give me the same error or not.
another thing i noticed is that "last clone jump" date didnt refresh, it still shows i havent clone jumped for the last few months.
Seriously, CCP, im willing to overlook a lot of things but your customer support is terrible, taking DAYS to get to a petition is inexcusable.

I agree with the customer service comment totally. It's a matter of respect to your customers that you simply let them know it's being looked into at the very least. I've had to pay out anther 90mil to carry on learning at the rate I should have been learning in the first place.
It's shit like this that is causing them to lose favour with many players. Still, jumpgate will be out in the not too distant future.

Edited by: Antikas Sourr on 13/09/2008 14:48:22 I too have lost a clone with implants in the same exact manner as the OP. I was jumping from a system named Murethand back to Mesybier. I attempted to do it, and it just sat there and I lost the clone in Mesybier. However, another clone just appeared out of no where in Murethand.
What the hell is going on?
Edit: I too have yet to receive compensation/reimbursement or any sort of response. _______________

Out of curiosity (and more info for ccp the better, we can at least pretend like we think they are working on this
S3dINSTBE - did you also have a extra clone appear in the station you were trying to jump from?
and both of you, in your clone window, does it not show the "last clone jump" as being your failed attempt, but the last sucessful clone jump?
Now that being constructive is out of the way, Ive still not heard anything, and ccp better put me in the right clone where i want to be with my missing implants AND a SP refund for lost training time for lack of implants. Im not willing to fly that far (some of it through hostile 0.0 and some through lowsec areas) for several hours, possibly loosing a ship and pod, and drop that much isk for replacement implants. due to other circumstances, this bug has effectivly benched me from playing eve for the last half week. i should ask for game time credit as well, tbh.
CCP, a petition should AT MOST take a hour or two. maybe even half a day if your gms are swamped. but days?! Especially with my previous luck with ccp means im halfway expecting "our logs dont show anything wrong" cut-and-paste reply.
If this goes on for a week straight im thinking of killing my accounts and checking back in a month to see if they fixed it or not. and no, you cant have my stuffs :p

I haven't tried JC-ing yet since the latest patch... but didn't they specifically say in the patch notes that we would now be able to JC to another clone in the same station without losing implants? Wouldn't this mean that if I'm at a station with a JC, and I jump to that clone that no clones should be destroyed? Shouldn't this also mean that we can have more than 1 clone at a single station?

I can confirm that a new clone appeared in the station I was trying to jump from and that the attempted jump did not appear as a "last clone jump".
I did manage to jump from that same station to masta, binning an empty clone but that is not an issue.
I have since bought another set of +4s but rather than them reinstating the clone which was destroyed I would like the cost of the new set of implants back which came to about 96mil (I would happily accept a rounded 95m).
LOL WISHFUL THINKING.

Still no response, either on my petition or in this thread.

Has anyone heard anything about this yet?
It's been 9 days and I've had no response from my petition, Not even a "sorry we are looking into it".

I actually received implants (in other words, I was reimbursed). Patience is a virtue, it seems. _______________

I've found that the petitions that are one-off events are quick to resolve. If many people report the same problem, then it is probably not an isolated incident, but a systemic problem. Those fixes take longer, generally. They can't be fixed with just a reimbursement and a "go on your way" message. They can be delayed, and the people who need resolution can get some of thier stuff back, but the bug still exists. I agree that CCP does not always tell us that they are working on a problem, but I believe that they get on them as soon as they can. (Sometimes they seem to have screwed-up priorities, but that's another issue) Glad that at least some of you are getting your implants back.
