Hey there,
Im currently skilling my character up for Force Recon ships, and using EvEmon ive worked out it will take 55 days of training (skilling up suggested learning skills as well).
But I dont have any implants. I worked out to level up Science to 3 and Cybernetics to 4 would take 8 days.
So would you say the 8 days extra of training are worth it to improve the speed of the other skill training?

If you haven't already, you could always train Science 3 and Cybernetics 1 to access +3 implants. That might take some time off your training. Plus, cybernetics is always a good skill to have trained.

Get to 3 as quick as you can. Eventually get to 4 at least.
If you think corp is different than a guild or clan you have some insecurity issues.

I can safely say that it's worth it getting a set of at least +3's in.

Cyber 4, assuming you keep a set of +4s in your head, costs 111,735 SP and adds 1.65 SP/minute. That yields a payback time of 47 days. Cyber 5 pays back in 266 days, similarly. This assumes you keep the best possible learning implants in your head the whole time, of course.
But yeah, it's most definitely worth it.

Cyber 5 is a good goal to go for TBH as it opens up advanced implants and .... means you can plug in +5's - even if not useful to you on TQ - if you want to experiment on sisi at any time in the future then having cyber 5 means you can plug in +5's right away and get training ...
it takes a special person to train cyber 5 for sisi use - but I did it originally as i got sick of training it up all the times [and have since found it useful on TQ]
