EVE Search - CANT Freaking log on

Puncher Davis	Posted - 2003.06.16 00:26:00 - [1] OK GUYS this is getting annoying i go to connect and it does everything but download the character and it just sits thier idly. I have rebooted twice and hit the esc key and tried to login that way. IT comes back with this message "The transport has not yet been connected, or authentication was not successful". OK go fish authentication had to be good cause in the initial start up it authenticated just fine otherwise i would not have gotten this far. Thier are no proxy errors so the server is on and it show 4800 players. ALso can anybody tell me what test player means below the amount of people on a server?. I am annoyed I wanna play but Im gonna take the game back at this rate Punch the laser in Suck the ore out. This is fun.

The Test server is a server where patches to new versions of eve is used for interested players to test out. If you have tried to connect to the test server your client will have ben patched to that version. If you then go back to connect to the live server you will have a too high version of the client. It's recommended to have separate installs of EVE and use on on each server. What version are you using? It is noted in the login dialog. -Perfer at obdura; dolor hic tibi proderit olim.

CCP better get their act together and sort this out, as i am being threatened with being kicked out of my corp, and i refuse to pay for a service that doesn't work. I have raised support questions, but as yet i am still waiting for a response nearly 5 days later. The error only appears when i attempt to connect to the live server, i can route through to the test server no problem. Any comment, question, suggestions, would be most welcome. Regards

Moonstar	Posted - 2003.06.20 18:13:00 - [7] I have had the same problems. I find that I can only log on after 10pm British summer time, before that no chance. Are you on normal or broadband ? My friend is on broadband and he has not had any problems. I hope CCP are looking into this.

This may take some time as Austin is in a foxy mood. yeah babe yeah.
