Wouldn't you want to continue your "epeen streak"? Oh, I know, is it because of this: http://www.eve-druid.com/2008/09/13/what-a-night/ The Final Stand, are they finally falling?

A couple of you complained our KB is private now so I'll just do a short battle summary for you. First of all I'll say gf. Second, I guess you feel it's necessary to include every corp in the area in your napfest just to take us on. The United, Molotov Coalition, ACES, NeoSpartans, Order of The Griffin, and who ever else I missed. The total tally was The Final Stand killed 18 and lost 16. We had 14 pilots, a couple came back in new ships. I really don't know how many we were up against but it was 29+ for sure. First you tried to trap us on the Anher gate, tried to smack because we were smart enough to bring the fight to Thelan gate, United lost a hype and rest went back to rancer. Now for the real fight. We had our gang of 14 sitting on the Thelan gate for like 20 minutes waiting for the rancer napfest to keep their word and come bring the pain. Finally they show up on the Hagilur gate in Thelan and hold. Our back scout reports another battleship gang in Dudreda ready to pancake us, made up of ACES and Molotov. The United gang in Thelan pops drones on the other side of the gate, the Molotov gang jumps in Hagilur and lands on top of us at the Thelan gate. My guess was the plan was to push us through. We had other ideas and engaged. By the time we almost finish off the Molotov/ACES gang and lost nearly half our BS's, The United/NeoSpartan gang decides to jump in (very late) to try and clean up kills. It turned into a slugfest and was a good fight. Pre-fight we were preparing for caps dropped on us + 20 support. We had 9 bs's, 5 support and decided we're going to fight you and it was time to prove a point. We engaged twice our numbers and came out with more kills, 17 of which were bs's. I've got news for you. We aren't leaving Hagilur. We will never be intimidated by your napfest blobs. If we're going to continue to get engaged by twice our numbers we will continue to leave the fight with more killmails. We aren't your typical pirate corp, deal with it.

They just get bigger and bigger everytime I run into them. Needless to say i usually wind up in pod or back home. To me it sounds like they got even smarter by not allowing ppl to see what there up to. Ships, location and whatnot.

Anyone else see that dialog box pop up? http://eve.thefinalstand.com is their website, right? Isn't that kind of hacking the EVE forums?

More failed propaganda please. :) Actually, it was a LONG BATTLE, with 3 waves of combat, totally awesome fight. Yes, it was continuous PvP action, something that we ALL have not seen in a long time. It was a good fight and unlike other fights, TFS did not run away, mainly because they were trapped. If there had been a clear and open gate, I am sure they would have fled as they are very prone to do so. Total tally, 16 kills (the napfest as you put it) and 17 losses (TFS and their friends Flithy Scum) from the 3 engagements in this large battle. It was a good fight, close in numbers, 850 mil lost by TFS to the 500 mil by everyone else. TFS corp pilots lost ships, docked, got into another ship and engaged again, some loosing a second ship. So, are they falling? With this engagement, I would have to answer my own question with a "meh". It's too close to call. If you go by number AND ship types that TFS lost, you would have to admit they took a beating tonight. A serious beating with multiple ships losses for the same pilot. Yeah, they lost a ship, docked and came back to loose another one. As for their killboard to be down, well, as much as they epeen waive that they are the best out there, you have to admit that on the night they take 850+ mil in losses to 500 mil from their opponents, suddenly their KB is borked with some technical issue. It's possible, the timing just seems a bit convenient. I guess this would be another one of those arguments for a central EVE killboard run by CCP. Anyway, it was a good fight and I do look forward to more of them.

So, make your BS losses 14. The HAC cost roughly twice as much as a battleship, so make your BS losses equal to 16. Your recons cost roughly twice as much as a battleship as well, so make your BS losses equal to 18. We lost 16 battleships and 1 Battlecruiser (.5 battleship). So we would have a loss value of 16 BS plus the 1 that you think is missing, makes it 17.5. 18 to 17.5. Hmm, did we win? Well, look at the value of what was lost with current market values, I fail to see how you can say that you came out ahead. You clearly didn't. It was a close one though. Real close. Close enough that I am sure arguing will continue. I asked a simply question, are TFS falling. O You want to compare the value of the kills / losses in this engagement to answer the question, you lost clearly. You want to answer the question based on the tactics that were used against you, mainly how YOUR tactics were employed to fight you, then yes, you are falling. Have you completely fallen? Not yet.

It may have been true when you knew them, but they have tripped up a bit since then. We were finally able to trap them, keep them from running. They knew they were trapped and they let their pride get the best of them. It cost them tonight. It knocked them down a few notches. So, they smack in local and do what they now do best, try to rationalize their losses.

It was a good fight, would fight again. TFS have smacked lots, we've given it back. I don't normally smack, but I like trolling these guys. They've blobbed, we've counter blobbed, fact is numbers will never be equal due to timezones, what are we going to do, tell people to stay docked? 'No you cannot come and fight, we must have E-Honour'. If one of TFS directors wants to hit me up in game we can arrange to have a proper square go as they're that concerned about numbers. Arrange a fight w/e. Fact is outside of that we will always try and win. It's not about e-peen. I like a good fight as much as the next man but if I want to go and raep someone's face then I make sure I'm able to do it with the minimum of fuss, that's called war gents. They've bought 1 falcon/rook for every 3-4 combat ships of their's, while complaining about enemy ECM. Instead of trying to counter ECM with ECCMs/Nano's they've just whined about it and bought their own Falcon fest, which is fair play I suppose. 'I'm getting all my guys trained for Falcon's, our aim is to get 5 pilots online at any one time'. TFS seem butthurt because we've partycrashed them during some fights and accused us of some sort of NAPfest, fact is we've been passing through/coming by (on one occassion our nano gang was passing back through the system from 0.0 and ended up flagged, they then got into a barney on a gate, we warped in and took out their snipers and ECM, there seemed to be severe anal chafing from that incident) and doing some damage just because there's been stuff going down on the gate. TFS don't need blues to get by etc etc. 1 corp etc, yet they seem to have a NAP with 1 or 2 other pirate corps. They claim to want to take over our space yet 9/10 times it is us going to Hagilur to fight them, setting up camps on their gates, taking their traffic. They never leave that system and when they do they get sent packing with their tales between their legs. I find the fact that they've made their killboard private quite disturbing, the only other people who do that are carebear alliances who want to hide how terrible they are, but I digress. I'm going to close this now. We are outnumbered almost always, plus the other side had a combination of 3 ECM as well. Good fight, wished you would have jumped in sooner instead of coming in mid-way through our fight. That's the difference between TFS and you guys in the rancer pocket, we aren't here to make ourselves look good statistic wise, we want to have fun. If we happen to get beat, who cares?
