Aidith State War Academy	Posted - 2008.09.13 09:34:00 - [1] Hi, I'm looking to join my first corp. I like doing missions and eventually would like to maybe mine and pvp. Although I don't have super skills at the moment, I just need a bit of direction and help in becoming a well rounded player. I am looking to start this next coming week, but would like to start speaking to people to see if they do the sort of thing i'm interested in over the weekend maybe. I'm 24 and come from the UK, played other online games, and would say I'm a good team player. I look forward to seeing what's out there. :D

Join the channel "Mecha Gen" in game we normally are normally active past 02:00 hours Eve time and play to around downtime. On weekends we sometimes are on allot earlier around 16:00 to 20:00 hours eve time.

We're in mining & manufacturing corp that operates in both empire in 0.0. We have EU and US players so you'll have pilots to fly with. For a new pilot we'll get you going with a well stocked hanger of gear for you to use. We'd expect you to start off working with our miners hauling then moving up to a Hulk. You'll make more isk faster this way and we'll provide you with free barges so you can save you isk for skill books and your hulk. We do pretty much everything except, PvP and we have friends in channel who do that. So you'll have plenty of folks to answer your questions. Nothing like having a -10 sec PvP expert help you figure out the rig for your frigate. And when we get bored mining, you'll be able to join in on Level 4 mission for some serious combat, bounties, loot and faction standings. If you'd like to meet our pilots, stop by Channel_Z and say hello. Here's the basic info: Subtle Romance is a corp that was founded to teach new or inexperienced players to be effective in PvP. We're pirates, because piracy is the most fun form of PvP (Few blobs to deal with). We have no requirements except that you conduct youself with honor--no lying about ransoms or camping gates (not that you WOULD at this time in your EVE career, but it's good to say anyway). There's no tax rate and I reimburse any frigates or cruisers lost while I'm leading gang. We're very laid back and like to have a good time. Therefore, you aren't required to to ANYTHING. I might encourage people to gang up to learn some PvP, but if you're feeling down or just tired, there's nothing preventing you from just sitting in station or running missions/mining/whatever. While we are primarily US based, we've got a lot of UK members that are fairly active, so you shouldn't lack people to fly with. Also, if you're a night gamer, we hould have some overlap on weekdays.
