Well done ! Nothing work !
Sometime I can get to the game, sometime not, when I'm in, I dont' see my ship in the station, when I leave the station, I get the "tuning sub-system" window forever, what else ... the portrait of my character had no light effect, looks like a portrait in black and white ...
I deleted all files in cache directory ... doesn't solve anything. Last thing I though to do is to reinstall everything...
Adromir not very happy |

yep, add me to that list. I get a black screen after character selection and the station interior never loads.
I've tried creating a new character and that works just fine, loads up no problem but not the one I was happily using last night...

Same problem as Orobas.... select character and get a big screen of nothing.... rolled back all drivers, installed latest ones again... cleared game cache, re-installed Eve and got nowhere
Damn patch... maybe they need a change manager

Hopefully my character will be alive when I am able to log back again. .. ------ In a time when life has no value, death sometime has its price. ------ |

among other jokes that came with new patch : I (and at least two other persons I spoke with a few mins ago) got their ship killed by concord while attacking rats :/ When u're mining in an apoc this kind of bs is annoying...

I have to say I have had no problems other then some lagg, which I kinda expect. Also that I am getting implants from kill agents now, both from missions and am getting some in loot.. at least one of my corp mates did..
Just like every patch it does not matter if they test, when they always get to the production environment, it always does something you did not expect it to do.
I do not think there is a software out that that has not experienced something like this. So cut them some slack... It happens there is nothing you can do about it.. Go read a book or something watch a movie...
CCP - keep up the good work, this is still a rockin game.

Granger - easy for you to say when you can play
Anyway I got the same problem AFTER the serverpatch at 19:30 gmt. Before that I played Castor with no problems. Only change on my side is that I thought it to be an good idea to clear the cache in the meantime. Dunno if that is the reason for my current fubar'ed travel in void
Anyway - with the time it takes to load this forum and the news in character selection I think they are choking the serverfarm somehow

Please add me to the "tuning sub-system" list.
I even created a new character to see if I could play him. No dice, same message with that character.

I hope if I keep staring at the 'tuning in to subspace frequency...' for long enough, the thing will actually load...
This isn't too bad when i am completely stoned...

like everyone else i love watching a stupid little bar travel across a box whilst looking at a "turning on sub-space frequencies" message, i enjoy it even more knowing i'm paying for the privilege. :(
i thought after the amount of bad press steam got ( and is still getting ) over CS patch releases, the peeps doing the updates would at least try to get it right before releasing the patch to terrorise us ( paying ) end users. oh well time to find that book ....... again.

I've had no problems at all...except for my portrait is dark and has no light. The patch loaded well and have no lag.
