I have been flying interceptors and bombers for the last year. I made a decision to start flying a Nano-Drake in a small Caldari roaming gang where most of our fighting is taking place at the gates. Most of my fit is set in stone, but I have to make a choice over what drones to use. I currently have an Drone Aux fitted in the non-launcher high slot on my drake for range. This drake is a passive 35K hit point tank, with 24km point and 10km web. Do I carry:
a) 5 light ECCM drones to help break that lovely Rapier lock.
b) 1 medium webber (30% web) to web that Domi and trade points as we get neuted.
c) Leave empty so I can scoop to drone bay a 1M ISK worth of dropped drones after a fight.
d) none of the above

Yea or 5 hobgoblin 2's or whatever damage rats don't do in the region you roam. I'd go for that. Remember fof's too, oh and nano drakes suck.

Yes you're right, what possible use could anyone find for a nanoed passive, kinetic ham bonused, resist bonused bc with 20k of reneging passive tank.

Hobgoblin IIs for DPS, or Warrior IIs for 'hey mr tackler, I want to have a word with you'.
Light ECMs are woefully uneffective... but then again, you never know, they might work.
Nano Drake isn't *that* much of a bad idea - you can get it to be very agile (as it is the most agile BC together with the Hurricane), and while it's speed is nothing to write home about, well, it still works somewhat. Plus, no range issues on the Drake. Of course, a ton of ships do it better, but it's probably better at nanoing then the Hurricane (which IS nano at times) due to weapon systems.

you can also scoop drones directly to your cargo hold, no need to have free space in drone bay to get them
