It sits around on the market since release, giving absolutly no benifit for players to this day. Other than that, nothing until Jump Drives get put into the game.

If its good enough for Gween then its good enough for me (unless of course there's some sort of favouritism that exists on these boards ...)

from what i have read, jump drives won't be available for normal ships, they are titan modules only as the titans can't fit through gates. but i'm not 100% sure

they are not available yet, they will be used for industrial ships. Those ship as so big that they cant jump trough gates but will use jumpdrives instead.. dont think it will be in shiva, but read it somewhere here tho..

in the gamespy devblog there was mention of a jumpdrive module being released as part of shiva after the dynamics of shiva are understood, soooooo im guessing should see them around 3rd quarter 2009 give or take a decade for myself i just want to jump into jove space and see how long a last b4 i get wasted.

Well, recently (in the last few days) some guy found a jumpdrive in a gurister bs drop deep in the Geminate region.
I think that was an unwanted drop just as the cloaking device mentioned somewhere in this forum that was dropped by a gurister bs.
I haven't got a screen shot from the stats of the jumpdrive yet but when I get it I will post it here.
Maybe CCP will remove the item again, who knows.

I don't agree to all that. if that the case, how polaris frigates use them. I think you will have jump drive for different ships. just read the chronicle on STAR.

Polaris frigates don't use Jumpdrives, they use GM move commands. Kieron said so himself :P
