LOL, I had a dream the other night that I cheated on Kit with another woman (who happens to be a very real woman, and is an old friend of mine).
Whereas most people would think that my next action is crazy, as the typical TX, I told Kit.
Funny thing is she was ACTUALLY bothered by it, despite the fact that I told her it was a dream, and dreams can't be helped etc etc and she accepted that. Kinda. Besides, a few months ago I had a dream in which SHE cheated on ME with my mate, so this was me getting my own back on her.
But then she said that HER cheating was just a dream, so I shouldn't HAVE to 'get back' at her for it. But then that just reinforces my point... yada yada, blah blah blah.
In the end, she's still slightly bothered by it, which I think is funny.
I'm now wondering if I could take this to a whole new level, by contacting that old female friend, and asking her to post on Kit's FB wall something like 'It wasn't a dream'......
But I think... 1) The old friend would be far too disturbed after me explaining the situation in the first place to want to do this and 2) As funny as **** that it would be for me, I REALLY don't think Kit would be able to see the funny side of it after it all blew over.
Thoughts?

you're batshit insane?
I hope you phrased your 'cheating with another woman' dream as a nightmare
(and yeah, even though you can't help what you dream, she could argue that it's a manifestations of your subconscious desire to CHEAT ON HER!! )
In seriousness, it's good that you told her, I just hope you told her in the right way. And as for the old friend posting on facebook idea...just don't, lol. __________________________ Indulge Me Consider Yourself Indulged - Immy ♥ Wow immy scored - Xorus

Well she woke me up to say goodbye (she wasn't "leaving on a jetplane" though, teehee) cuz she was off to work and I'm on late shift this week, so I sleep in.
Still half asleep, this is basically the conversation we had the other morning:
Kit: im going to work. kiss. ['kiss' isn't an action, it's a word she actually said. it's like an order, lol] TX: I. had. dream. i cheated. on you. Kit: *gasp* how rude TX: *yawn* *small-lol* *yawn* Kit: with who? TX: [name of old friend] Kit: *big gasp and general mumblings of disgust and anger* TX: iz DREAM! Kit: yeah, but still....
Yeah, that's basically what happened.

I don't have any exes - Kit's the first gf. And possibly the last if I go ahead with my plan and it phails.

If that's a joke, then lol, well done, i lol'd. If not, then to help you avoid threads that I make, here's some advice... **** OFF. There's a wonderful little feature on the forum that tells you who started the thread, so if you really don't like me, or the random shite I talk about, then don't click on any thread started by me. On the other hand, if your comment was 90% joke, 10% funny, then sorry for my harsh words, I just think it's daft to complain about something avoidable.

leaving her to dwell on it all day at work maybe should have waited a few seconds until you could think and said "omg...I just had the most terrible dream...you have to know I would never ever do this but...in my dream I CHEATED ON YOU!! With [name of old friend] of all people! Oh I'm so ashamed!" Then she comforts you (I still maintain it's nice that your first instinct was to tell her. Stupid, but nice )
Though I have to say this makes the most sense to me:

Jeez! You know you don't have to tell your GF everything, specially if you have dreams with another girl, right? I mean, you where doing nothing wrong, so enjoy and keep it to yourself.
On the other hand, did you stop to thnik why you dreamed about you with that woman? Was there something that could have influenced your dream? Did you talk to her or remembered her for any reason? Sometimes dreams are just the expression of the unconscious, but other times the brain picks up things of our daily life to create dreams. You need to find out the origin of that fantasy (if you wish.)

Well unless your mouse is broken and clicks at random I don't see what's so hard about it. Please explain in detail how it's hard to avoid a TX thread we might be able to solve the issue because I've avoided plenty with no issue.

We do share everything. Well, I do. That's me unfortunately, lol. Actually, for the first 2.5 of my 5 years at secondary school, I fancied the pants off the girl in question. Eventually we became friends.

now shes going to converse with all her little friends about it. All day, be repeating the same things, and it will become stuck in her head. And her friends will try to one-up each other, constantly. Depending on how the first one wants to try and console her (that it was 'just a dream' or that you are a horrible bastard, either for having the dream or just being inconsiderate enough to tell her) it will rapidly spiral out of control and things will either go back to normal almost instantly or there will be a big fight about it.
Im glad i spend all my money on gadgets and not trying to impress girls, they don't freak out and try to stab me.

Edited by: Reven Cordelle on 17/09/2008 07:55:48 Thats great.
Dreams are nothing. Anyone that actually makes even any reaction needs to get a clue.
Why do I think this? Because I've been shot and stabbed, fallen from a building, been eviscerated and been in several car crashes.
One of the stabbing dreams I actually felt the knife.
I just consider that in-sleep entertainment. Sketchy but entertaining.
Maybe shes bothered by it because your central thought processing unit went as far as to dig up some old memories of someone, fit and jiggle them a bit to create a dream where you end up "cheating" on people...
Dreams can be super ****ed up anyway, its not like you have any kind of influence on them. I've done some experimentation myself.
The cheese-before-bed scenario does not cause nightmares.
However it seems Reeses Cups have a slight influence.
Maybe thats why Reeses are for breakfast.

First of all you're a teenager (easily influenced) so certain things are appropriate for your age like watching violent movies prior to sleeping. And you also fear of getting your dad's car messed up in an accident. Either that or you have developed a passion for driving since you were a kid, are you watching F1 too or playing that sort of games? Playing the hero is something common in dreams so nothing to worry about. That's all. Next!

You've never heard of lucid dreaming, have you? Yes it's too soon.
Firstly, I'm 21.
I recently learnt how to drive back in March, passed 3rd time because the towns around here are blind-cornered murder.
Learnt in a tiny little 900cc Hyundai Getz. for my first car, I bought a '96 Ford Mustang GT 4.6 Litre. However I have never been driving when the dream-crash happens.
I play too much Counter-Strike. I suck at Knifing, the dude that knifed me in the dream was infact that Terrorist with the red headband, The knife was the same CS-Source knife model.
Safe to say the frequency of my dreams is probably no more than once or twice a MONTH.
I seem to save up for a bonanza of a hollywood blockbuster dream.
Maybe dreams have budgets. Like, instead of most people who have the cheap ****o dreams, I have multimillion dollar hollywood blockbuster dreams where the scene will change so dramatically, yet no one will notice.
Thats the funny part. You can go from a sofa to a cliff face and no one seems to care.

Yes the only way to get a hold of you fear of driving is by actually driving, so I guess I should have seen it.

I've played CS too and it's a very emotional intense game, also there's a video about a terrorist getting stabbed that was released on the internet a long time ago, have you seen it?

Come on man. If your plans for your future with this lady go through, you better learn something. I know you said that Kit is your 1st GF so I will go easy. On any sensitive topic you have to be very carefull on how you word it around your significant other. As much as I hate to stereotype in this context, most womens knee jerk reaction to anything like this is to flip. You have to word what you say very carefully, realize this ASAP. On the other hand if you are trying to sabotage a relationship to weasle your way out, then this is probably one of the best ways to plant the seed

Actually, I seem to have more dreams when I have cheese before bed - a LOT more. When I don't have cheese in the few hours before bed, I don't RECALL having any dreams, but of course I may still have them. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
LOL, I have nothing to learn - we know each other so well, I know exactly what I can get away with, and she knows me too well to leave me over it or anything extreme like that. I was actually just after 'Thoughts?' about whether I should take it to the next level - as I'm not sure that I could get away with THAT.

Ah, I bet this is exactly what Kit will be thinking about all day.
I'd get ready for some questions later, when you're both home from work.
I definitely wouldn't think about asking the 'dream girl' to post on Kit's facebook until I'd given Kit a few days to have a few little 'chats' with you about it.

I had a dream last night that I was out 4 wheeling and I was using a dirt road that was on a angled hill next to (and partially submerged by) a lake. I tried to turn around and slid the jeep right into the lake, it started to sink and I tried desperately to pull it out by hand.
Then I woke up all ****ed off still thinking I needed to call a tow truck to drag it out.

You might be up against some difficult challenge in rl... or you will be soon. Dreams aren't exactly clear because they are just a translation into imagery and personal symbolism of a complex subconscious dynamics and the subconscious deals with intuition and emotional equivalents rather than logic/facts.

I edited it to make it even more cool. Hows now? hahah It means that 1 thing dreamed by 2 different people might not yield the same interpretation. You'd have to take into account the personality of each individual.

We're both 22, and she'd been eating a blue sweetie of some decription. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I told her today that I made this thread, and discussed the possibility of winding her up further, also telling her that because i couldn't quite work out if she would see the joke the right way or not that I decided not to go ahead with it, hence the reason i was then telling her about making this thread.
So no extra jokes to add on here.
She's in the bad books with me at the moment - she said she'd pick me up from work tonight, but at ten-to-midnight when i finished work, she weren't there. She was still at home. Slapped wrist as punishment. making me walk up and down the street at work in teh middle of teh night, honestly.
We also then had a massive arguement at home, and she went to bed angry. I gtg to bed now, hopefully she's cheered up. before she went to sleep she managed to calm down enough to tell me why she's PARTICULARLY HORMONAL this week...... ruddy wimmin. lol.
