Hi all... yesterday for the first time while doing an anomaly sacanned in 0.0 I had this message:
Your scanner has picked up a transmission originating from a nearby system. It would be wise to investigate this mysterious signal further.
and got an entry im the expedition section of my journal.
It was the first time I had an expediton... this night we formed a fleet with some corp mates e we went to the system pointed by the expedition. We found a complex (sansha wareouse) warped in and did 5 acceleration gates with 5 BS equipped with remote reppers
but after the last room nothing appened, I was expetting a new message pointing us to a new complex, and I still have the entry in my journal... I'm sure we destroyed every struture and found 4 Overseer but nothing more...
Am I missing something ?

At the end of every step in an expedition except the last, there's a CHANCE you'll get a message, and an entry in the expeditions log, for the next step. Usually if you miss this chance, someone in the fleet will get a "dead end" message, but that system seems to be buggy.
Alternately, it could be the last in a very short chain ofcourse. Or maybe you didn't complete the step. Any interesting-looking buildings you left intact in that last room?

AFAIK, anomalies dont escalate like deadspaces do (with some steps) but escalate into a DED complex (which it did as u said u got some overseer stuff which IS DED).
So...no, all was correct.

The other poster was right in that they escalate into plexes...
For example, in minmatar space, you might find an angel 6/10 (cant remember exactly--might be a 5/10?) drug outlet by just scanning unknowns OR u might get a low sec hit with just the ship scanner and that escalates into the 6/10!
These are obviously very very cool :)

Sounds like you forgot to blow up the overseer structure at the end.

Well, yesterday a low-sec cosmic anomaly 'Serpentis Port' escalated into 'Serpentis-Phi Outpost' which is a 4/10 DED plex. I didn't pursuit because it was located in 0.0 behind a nice little gate-camp operation. But I guess it would go as normal DED plex from there on, i.e. no DEAD END message for the expedition, just the plex and the juicy overseer loot ;)
