Even when speed changes implement, interceptors will still be very fast, definately fast enough to get to a falcon. Also, the ceptors can get warp ins for other non-bs ships to pop the falcon..
Ceptors wont be all that fast after nerf. 5km/s is what we are talking about, wich means there is more then enough time for the falcon to spot the approach and warp to one of the other bookmarks around the gate and continue jamming. Today interceptor speeds can reach past 10km/s with not all that expensive fits and that might be a speed where you can almost surprise a falcon but not with a 5km/s inty. ----------------------------------------- [Video] Support Barrage |

And once again, we see the assumption that every Falcon has a set of jamming bookmarks for every fight. They don't.
And it's not like you can get a Falcon with pure speed, even on TQ with a snake/poly interceptor. Any decent Falcon pilot is going to decloak aligned and at full speed, as soon as you cross the 50-100km mark, the Falcon hits warp and instantly escapes.

Yeah that too but you can't deny the hordes of falcons we are seeing in every system, especially entry and choke points where they DO have alot of bookmarks. I was in orvolle few days ago and we were 8 people in the system where HALF of the inhabitants were confirmed falcons. I don't see how anyone can deny it is not overused and a tad op tbh. ----------------------------------------- [Video] Support Barrage |

Well, we report falcon pilots and set standings to them as a rule to make life easier (and prevent the 'oh let's fight -> shit, I'm jammed' moments).
So the algorithm when I spot targets goes like this: (a) spot targets (b) look at local for negative standings (c) if yes, assume they're in a falcon unless you can confirm otherwise. If you do not outnumber, don't engage/dock. If you do outnumber, check wether anyone has a counter-fit ship on hand. If they're not available, and you don't have at least 3 ships more, don't engage/dock.
It works. Gets you less fights, true, but there is no concieveable way to fight without superior numbers in the situation, so you might as well not give them free kills.
Really hordes of them in low-sec though.

*shrugs*
Don't get into fights on chokepoint gates if you don't want to face the advantages a prepared defender can have. I'm honestly surprised it's just Falcons using sniper bookmarks, not sniper battleships/Scorpions/etc.
My prefered method for getting a fight is a covops alt with a 20 second scan time. No bookmarks to worry about there!

And see, without even fitting a single module, you've negated the Falcon's entire advantage over a Scorpion. Good job demonstrating the fact that Falcons really aren't all that overpowered if you're willing to think about how to counter them, instead of just blindly jumping in with a blob of Megathrons.
