I'm in korama right now in the lonetrek region. I'm planning on heading out to null security space, but I want to setup a jump clone somewhere near this system. But even with stations that I have done alot of missions for and have gotten decent standings with still won't let me set one up because they don't like me or something (at least that is what the message said).
Is there anyway of setting a jump clone up somewhere? -------------------------------------------- "I don't mind being called a liar when I'm about to lie, when I lying, or just finished lying, but not when I'm telling the truth!" - Homer Simpson |

Yes, but not that easily.
You need a corp standing with an NPC corp of +8.0 to get a clone there, and that isnt easy to get or maintain - A new member of the corp can destroy that standing if they have run a few missions for your clone provider.
The easier way in empire is to find someone with a a clone vat bay on a mothership, rorqual or titan (yeah right..) that will sell you the service. These do exist. I found one by googling in 30 seconds, but as the guy has competition I'll let you find your own way there.
If you dont mind going to 0.0 then you can buy a clone at any outpost you have docking permission for. If you dont have good relations with an outpost holding alliance, then you can try CVA down in Providence. They allow neutrals to use their space and to dock in their outposts, but they do charge docking fees etc. I strongly urge you to find their public channel and ask them about it before you go all the way there and possibly waste your time though.
Remember you will also need the isomorph psychology skill trained up.

I fail to see why you need someone to join for 24 ours if you have NPC standings. It takes only a few seconds to set up a JC. A few minutes to setup multiple clones in nearby stations.
All my characters have done that. And the one that set up 5 clones at once was a corp member for about 20 minutes (set up 3 clones in Caldari space and 2 in Amarr).

You can ride on either your corp's or your own standing. They changed it some time ago.

It was only I believed that this is how long it took to leave a corp - not sure if a member doesnt have any roles
